I’m a stonemason and my work is extremely tough on clothes. I’ve been wearing these in the the dark blue “pre-wash” daily for years. They take such a beating and just end up looking better and better. Makes me laugh when I think about people spending hundreds of dollars for those fancy designer jeans.

The north face is a 100 level fleece . You need a Denali jacket with the polartec 300 fleece and nylon patches to keep warm

The black rustlers are more comfortable than the blues

only get 100 percent cotton for true 501. as thats how the originals were and they also look better with time

its very good quality and i like the branding, its not too intrusive, or loud, very classy and well built polo shirts, i also like thier regular tshirts the cotton is very polished or brushed and feels great on skin.

It might have been a good idea to let us know the hair drier settings.

Barstow by Levi's is amazing. I agree with your review. I also have a chambray shirt (charcoal colour) by Ed Hardy and a classic denim shirt by American Eagle, both are good but Barstow is something exceptional. The nearest match to Barstow I can say is another western shirt I own which is by Wrangler. Mostly I own pocket friendly brands but there could be better shirts in the higher price range viz. Ralph Lauren, True Religion, Replay etc.

Do you find the wrangler denim jacket to be longer(less cropped) in length than the Levi? I always noticed that the Levi jacket was more cropped than the Wrangler.

The best pants in the world I wear Dockers since 1992 and it never fails me. The best in look, style and quality. Always the straight fit but I have a few slim fits I’m 5 feet 9 and now in my late 50s in up to a 36 waitlist. In the beginning it was 34 till 2013.

I had an old Nordstrom denim shirt but it’s almost white with years of wear. Also it had a loser fit. I recently got an Ely Cattleman dark denim shirt. It’s not a slim fit but more of a classic fit. I love it.

I bought it cuz it looked good. But once i wore it and felt the air come thru the jacket. I immediately got rid of it. Not warm enough for me. But i think for most people they don’t mind the breeze coming thru.

Being honest, the Wrangler jeans “cowboy cut” and “George Straight” cut are the best. But, I still wear Levi’s 550’s too. As far as denim jackets, I have both. I actually like the Levi’s one better. The denim is a little stiffer than the Wrangler and I like that better when wearing them out in the deserts on cool days. But when I wear Wrangler jeans, I wear the Wrangler jacket. When I wear Levi’s jeans, I wear the Levi’s jacket. You can’t go wrong with either one. I always get a jacket that’s one size larger than what I need. I like coats to be baggy and give me the additional room. I’m an XL, but wear XXL jackets and hoodies. So the Levi’s xxl jacket looks and fits better on me than the Wrangler xxl jacket does. But… I love them both. But if I could only choose one brand between the two…. Wrangler is the definitive WINNER!
