@@CatchMeNever they are not even at the point in certification where they need an existing craft. They have had no tests. What tests do you think the faa gave them that they passed? They have money to try and a place to fly thats it. Nobody has inspected or tested the joby craft.

@CatchMeNever they don't post about it because it's nothing. They make a big deal out of anything they can like getting a license to operate as an air taxi buisness but never mention its only if they use existing certified aircraft. They make news about delivering their craft to edwards airforce base the location but never mention it's not to the airforce and joby still owns it and doesn't let the airforce touch it. They make news about putting a plug for it somewhere. What is step 3 of the certification process? They are told what they need to prove to be certified? Why did they claim to be in production before that? They need a prototype that can carry the weight of 5 people several miles. There is no proof that is even possible in reality. Nobody can even prove a multirotor evtol can lift its own battery and a human for 4 straight unedited minutes on a video ever anywhere in the world even without the added weight needed for safe travel and communications and comfort. Someone should be able to sit on a giant battety with motors and nothing extra and stay up a couple of minutes if that was possible. They need to edit their their videos in deceptive ways with music to make it look even remotely possible.

Son, I know I'm dying, but let me tell you, I lived a quality life. I spent all my time commenting on every Joby video I could find repeating the same thing over and over knowing it served no purpose. When I asked for piloted flights, and the began doing them, I shifted the goalposts. And every time they achieved something, I kept shifting my goalposts. When they actually began flying with passengers, I lost all my money on my short position. Otherwise, it was a life well lived. What did you get done this week other than get hurt on your Joby short?

@sthefreak2094 that wasn't pilot testing that was a stunt. There are longer clips of people dangling from large dji drones in the air than the Short edits of a piloted joby. They go higher also. Seconds long deceptive edits of a pilot with loud music hugging the ground should raise flags. He asked if it can carry 4 or 5 people and the guy said it has a target to carry that. That means no.
