Rich young people from out of town buying up all of the empty lots and old homes in poletown from the land bank. These young people will will talk about gentrification how it's bad. They will complain how expensive land bank property has become. On the surface they are "friendy" to long time locals but they hate Detroiters. They call locals Detroiters as a derogatory term with a snide devilish grin. They have whole foods on Woodward so they can feel like they're back at home when they shop. All they have to do is cut grass wait 10 yrs and then the big corporations will gain ownership of the land and develop it. Rent so high blue collar or nurses firefighters etc can't afford it. I'm not calling it racist but it is for wealthy people only. They are vultures feeding on the misfortune of the area.

$400,000 won't get you much more than a common no-frills middle class dime-store house in North Carolina. Homes like you show in this video, which we have in our upper class neighborhoods, would easly run closer to $700,000 to $1,000,000.
