@@Saxjon No, but you have to unlock it. Requires 500 medals (TA and Prison stages) and Encore Mode unlocked (all cups available including the recycle ones). If you find an unlock in the challenge board that describes something like that, you can also opt to Chao Key it (I still haven't got 500 medals myself so I did lol)

@@scopicaplays tl;dr: For RR, if you already know how to, it's as simple as a finish line setup, placing a bunch of waypoints and done :) If you haven't seen how waypoints work in RR, instead of making sectors with checkpoints, you instead make a path of waypoints, do a few tricks to auto tag everything in the right order, tweak the last waypoint to point to the first one, and set the first one as finish line + no respawn right over the finish line def (yes, it's a linedef now that goes inside a finish sector with the finish texture ) It can bring new obstacles in a few ways depending of what you do with the track...but for the most part, it accelerates things a lot if your track is simple enough - especially with how it doesn't need special sector setups (unless you need bots to do a specific action such as fastfall in one area, but only for such cases) and bots automatically work with the waypoints. Reminds me of when I worked with adding playerbot waypoints for kart maps, except here you don't have to set the angle manually and doubles as the main checkpoint system for players.

@@scopicaplays There's two documents about basics and stuff for HVR in the KKD server (been thinking on whether I should make a video on that though), but once you get to learn how to put together your first few maps, it becomes easier than you think :)

Sounds like you have Dolphin Triforce 4.0-315...thqt version does NOT work with AX. You have to get the one I mentioned on the description or anywhere else (the 5.0 Triforce build).

I haven't played in forever, but the usual strat is to use your strongest when the eye is exposed before the beam- as any attacks while it's covered will be very weak. The beam attack I do whenever it's exposed is the Right Turbo + Rifle attack (forgot which trigger), which is 1080's equivalent of Temjin's big laser attack...only weaker yet faster to repeatedly use. It's the one attack I use in the run to attack the weak spot.

@@SasoSasori- Neutral or moving but NOT dashing. You press the turbo and the attack button at the same time. Whichever one is the laser rifle button + the right turbo button (using left turbo uses different attacks)

You don't know what a GARBAGE game is if you think RR is one lol if anything it asks more of the player than a regular kart game (which tends to be close to nothing)

@@bloomallcaps Most of my frustration is how the difficulty is high in not a challenging yet rewarding way, but rather a bullshit way that costs you the race if you're even slightly unlucky. I personally love the manual item roulette and ring jackpot mechanic but none of it matters if I'm sent all the way to last place if i'm hit by a single item.

@@garulouie I never understand when people say this, even in Vicious mode I can get hit by a couple of items and even if I get sent back a few places, I can still recover, at least in singleplayer, and even when I do struggle it never feels like it ISN'T my fault. Maybe consider playing on Relaxed mode if you haven't already?

@@Pyrodiac Recovering feels like a chore in this game. Even when I burn through rings it's way too difficult to catch back up.
