Appreciate the vid. Does blood and poop degrade the fish once vac seal. Is that why you try to get rid of it?

Nice catch and gaff retrieval. I wonder if a bit of orange reflective tape on the handle might be a good idea. My old eyes wouldn't have picked it out against the dark water.

Awesome Jack. Mate if I can ask three questions of you: (1) How much line do you let your baits trail back 20m, 30m or 40m etc? (2) Do you shoot to troll in a certain depth of water and/or (3) Do you troll a preferred distance off reefs when in your yak when trolling for Spaniards? I am in WA and still trying to work out if there are preferential patterns to troll with our yaks!! Thanks mate if you can assist Paul 😊

Hey mate, (1) I like to put 20-30m out (2) depth isn’t much of a concern. Paddle until you find the bait is the best method I find.
