There’s definitely an element of serendipity in this beautiful film and in life. Unfortunately there are always predatory men who abuse their power, to sabotage your life by any means necessary for their own self needs - all under the guise of “care and concern”.

Hello! My name is Vera Petrovna Svechina. I’m from the CCCP. I’m film maker. I graduated film school in Academy of Art College in SF, Since 1999 I was visiting the Telluride film festival with the invitation from Tom Luddy, as my mothers silver MEDAL for the high school graduation in 1959 in the CCCP, serves as the SILVER MEDALION the TELLURIDE film festival since 1974. (I didnt know that till much later) In 2009, dec.19, the attempt to kill me happened in SF by some secret service. I was shocked as I never had any enemies. I went to the police and I found out that the CEO of APPLE STEVE JOBS was dying from CANCER. I didnt know him personally, but I went to his house in Palo Alto, as I also found out that in 1977 from my photo that was located in my parents apt. In CCCP, the USA APPLE corporation made the APPLE LOGO. In 1998-1999 when I was graduating the ACADEMY OF ART FILM SCHOOL in SF, I was supposed to meet APPLE’s people and they planed to pay me salary as Apple corporation used my photo since 1977 as the LOGO, it is because I was born with the title Princess in the CCCP. But neither I or my parents knew that also. And 1998 Sergey Brin (also from CCCP) started to use my face APPLE LOGO and he with terrorists broke the WTC in NY in 2001, because it was build in 1973 for my Gemini zodiac birthday, then they gave cancer to STEVE JOBS and hoped I commit suicide in 2009 in SF. They also killed my parents in RUSSIA. I met Steve Jobs in his house in 2009 -2010 and he said that I must get my salary from APPLE corporation….Since then I tried to contact APPLE corporation, but they dont reply. I made report to the police, FBI, I went to GOOGLE as its them who illegally used my face APPLE LOGO for GOOGLE (Putin helped SERGEY BRIN and hated my parents and me and APPLE LOGO with STEVE JOBS)…. Sergey Brin wrote a nasty article about me on the net and they never said sorry or gave me my salary since 1977! As soon as I found out that I must get salary from APPLE corporation, I was moved out from my apt. In SF without my belongings, by some secret service. I still dont know what country that secret service was. After I was attacked in SF in my apt. The war in the UKRAINE happened. The former wife of Steve Jobs LAURENE POWELL JOBS didnt want to talk to me about what happened, as I believe she is with the conspiracy of Brin and Putin and 911 terrorists, that gave STEVE JOBS cancer and killed my parents and tried to kill me. I’m in Russia now, My belongings are in SF, part I lost forever, my film museum as well. I lost….I was collecting my film museum for 15 years in JAPAN. Its very strange, but everyone after that stopped talking to me and how I must get my salary from APPLE and who is going to be responsible for BRIN illegally using my face APPLE LOGO and 911 against me and my parents……I don't know. Please give me advise, who can help me in this situation? What happened to me doesn't fit with the TELLURIDE film festival and what it stands for…..My mothers silver medal is still the silver medallion…..But Telluride film festival stopped to respond to me after the STEVE JOBS death as well.

I became obsessed with Brad Pitt's career after Fight Club. He's like the thinking person's Tom Cruise. Here's a guy who is incredibly good looking and incredibly bankable for production studios who is acting in movies that have a great surface value but also a very deep meaning within them that you can mull over for days, weeks, months or even years. He could have just done the former and had a successful career. I think Button was the first movie of his I watched after FC and had high hopes. And although it didn't hit me as viscerally as FC did (I mean come on, Chuck) there's still a lot to dig into here. This is a good short analysis. Life is totally chance or chaos whatever you want to call it. Benjamin living his life backwards highlights all of our lives as we live them normally. Using love as the focus. How often have we all been in that situation where the timing was just not right. Love the thought that we have no control over the way or lives pan out, who we might meet, what might happen to us and when. I mean you could leave the house right now and completely change your life just by something that happens by coincidence. The scene that hit me the most in this movie though was just after Benjamin had become too young for Daisy, and she too old for Benjamin. There's a 60 second monologue where he explains what control you do have: For what it's worth it's never too late Or in my case too early To be whoever you wanna be There's no time limit, start whenever you want You can change or stay the same There are no rules to this thing We can make the best or the worst of it I hope you make the best of it I hope you see things that startle ya I hope you feel things ya never felt before I hope you meet people with a different point of view I hope you live a life you're proud of And if you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again
