What I'm missing here is, how to adjust the Pedal assist in each Pas mode, for example I want a gentle pedal assist in Pas 1 but faster in Pas 5, I don't want or need maximum surge when in Pas 1 when I'm on a busy bike path for example.

I use this cooker all the time. Forget what this guy says. Use the measuring cup that comes with it, I typically use one full cup of rice, give or take a little, it's pretty forgiving, it doesn't have to be perfect, then add the right amount of water, for me, about 2 of the measure cup fulls, again it doesn't have to be perfect as long as you are close, then just set it and forget it. This is specifically for white rice. Sometimes I will put a few pot stickers and/or egg rolls to steam in the steamer basket. Try putting a little coconut oil in before cooking, probably around a 1/4 teaspoon worth, again I don't measure, whatever you think is good, you just have to experiment and adjust to your own taste. Add some garlic and ginger to the rice as well, pretty tasty. All kinds of things you can do with this thing. Get crazy and make up your own concoctions. You could even steam hot dogs in the basket if you wanted. It's only limited by your own imagination. P.S. He is right about rinsing the rice though, I generally rinse it 3 times, but hey that's just me. My guess is that not rinsing would make it more sticky, don't know for sure as I've never not rinsed the rice.

How long it took to drain it? I'm doing it for an hour and only like 1 dl. came out of it. (1/10 of a quart) By this speed it's going to take 40 hours to drain the gallon of gas....

I want to know how to clean the lid. you can not take it apart so it's going to get disgusting inside there very quickly. even just to clean the seal it seems you would have to take the entire unit and carefully wash the lid without getting water into the base. bad design! good rice cookers the lid can easily be removed and taken apart for cleaning.

I just put 2 bricks which i found in my garden under the head side of my bed frame. That solved the problem. That solved the problem, did not buy expensive beds or pillows. Hope it helps.
