I'm okay with the way you had to move stuff to get the jeep out BUT, are you going to fix the garage maybe later? The wall on the right as you are looking in looks okay! You know better than me!

The barn collapsed a decade or two ago, so if its still needed they'll likely have to rebuild it from scratch. The farm is not as active as it used to be.

well, earned my sub. - "I'm a beginner welder" - *buys professional grade $10k fab table setup to learn on.. sounds like me lol. i considered getting one of these as well. probably end up building my own version using aluminum plates that are replaceable.

How long between the order and when it arrived at the port of entry? I know it was 100 days to your door, but what was the gap between the port and the dropoff? Im thinking about ordering one, but then picking it up at the port so i dont have to pay additional shipping from there. Thanks!

Seems nice. Are tou not able to discuss the price?? Say i wanted the same setup. You telling us would help others know if this is a viable option on spending 2k or 5k or ???? I want a nice table but dont want to spend 10k .

Prices change, and its easy to get a quote for what you want from the company. Mine was in the 5k ballpark delivered.

It's cool to see that you got such a decent product, especially with all the fixtures as well. The few times I tried welding in a garage on a wood top were fairly disastrous and even getting a 1/4" thick steel sheet to weld on might've given me a slightly better surface to weld on but no ability to actually "fixture" anything. In the end, knowing I wasn't getting much use from my welder and stuff I needed to weld needed this kind of table - well, I sold the welder. Still have that heavy-ass steel sheet though. I will live vicariously through you. Now you need to weld up some more DJ booth frames.

I was looking at one of these tables but ended up getting a Fireball table. By the time you pay for duties, shipping it's not much cheaper than a Fireball table. Im happy I did because its a game changer from my old plate table.
@melgross8 ай бұрын
All these things are cheaper copies of the Siegmund. 14mm holes? Do you mean 16mm? I’ve never heard of a 14mm table. I can’t imagine why they would do that. 16mm is a standard size. You can get fixtures anywhere. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend a 14mm hole table. Considering that you have to get fixtures overseas, if you need something, you won’t be able to get it right away.
@noddingat8 ай бұрын
Yep, its actually 16mm. I just had the numbers mixed up in my head.
@joelmcclellan10506 ай бұрын
You’re absolutely right! Cheaper versions of the same quality. I’m not a member of the Starbucks $10 Coffee Club. I’ve seen both and the castings are comparable. You really save in the fixture department. Look it’s like this… our Government isn’t helping out the avg. Joe in this trade war, Section 301 tariffs being levied to so call even-the-playing field. It’s to keep prices your paying artificially high because a company/country mass produces a product to reduce costs. This month the propaganda machine points the dirty finger at the Chinese and embraces the Germans across the pond. Next month it will change and we’ll be smiling eating our rice with chopsticks. The quality is there… the price is right… and they’ve been to the moon.

Just subscribed to the channel. Liked seeing all the barn getting split apart and separated. Would have seen recycled use for all the barn wood. Plenty of saved wood would have liked to have seen the wood repurposed or sold for someone to Finnish their project. Congratulations getting to the Jeep and pulling that out n washing it off. Lots of heavy patina. Hope there will be future videos of the Jeep. That there might be value to the rest of the equipment that you get freed up. Cheers 🎉
