Why lie? This is not the 2-component spray foam that pros use, it's 1-component spray foam from a can. Why does Ontario Wildlife Removal not mention the difference between the 2 types of spray foam? Does 2-component spray foam keep rodents out?

Trash should have removed ALL of the gutters then screwed in the drip edge to the fascia and then used clear silicone sealant where shingles join the drip edge, after that you then can re install the gutters 😂 ripped off client. If that stuff isnt screwed in it will bulge out in less than a year

No, they actually don’t know what they’re doing on the road, and they don’t have quick enough reflexes to avoid a ton of steel barreling down the road. Thank the guy for saving the turtle or shut up.

When lifting the bottom of the turtle must be supported never lift like this it can hurt the turtle. Place an item under the belly and drag to shortest distance. They are very resilient animals if you need to drag them just don’t go fast. Hands are in the perfect place. At the back it’s like sort of a ledge , easy to handle. If hands move up the shell they have unbelievable reach backwards with amazing speed. Chomp…place the turtle with hard fwd in the direction you want it to travel.. happy turtles

Domestic rabbits in ground-based pens do the same thing. We thought a pregnant rabbit ate her babies, then she started digging and disappeared down a small hole. A little digging revealed five babies. I envy people with wild rabbits.

I've moved three of these common snapping turtles off the road in the last couple of weeks, with the heavy rains in texas. All three were way more aggressive than the one in your video. They don't let you get behind them. And they turn to be in attack position. I end up kind of trying to distract them with one hand and then get enough of another hand on them too then pick up.
@danriley282
@danriley282 5 ай бұрын
Yeah... I just came across a giant one like this on the side of the road. I tried to help it cross. But it was too aggressive, and I didn't want to risk it. I didn't have gloves either, not that having them would have made much difference. I tried calling animal control so they could make sure it crossed okay but couldn't get through. In the end, I reluctantly drove away with it still sitting at the side of the road.

@danriley282
@danriley282 5 ай бұрын
@jaredpelletier3157 yup. Let nature take its course. No, but seriously, what do you expect. I have responsibilities and family to take care of. I can't wait there all day. It wouldn't cross while I was waiting. I tried to get behind it to pick it up, but it was too aggressive. I called animal control, and they didn't answer. I tried, which is more than most would do. If it was a painted turtle, it wouldn't have been an issue. I'd have moved it across the street. Instead, it was a small prehistoric beast that wanted my blood. Also, I waited for as long as I had time for. I was with it for 15 to 20 mins. Then I called it quits.

@@danriley282 I stand corrected, sounds like you made a genuine effort to help the turtle but animals don't seem to know when we want to help them. credit given for trying.

@jaredpelletier3157 much appreciated. Yeah, I struggled with the situation. I truly wanted to help but was afraid to commit to picking it up for fear of getting bit or scratched (I’m not sure how much damage their long claws can do). I even waited in my car for a bit after leaving it, hoping it would move along in my absence. It just waited me out, and eventually, I had to leave. Anyway. Have a nice day!

Tip: if you think it may be abandoned, take some yarn and mke an "x" with it over the nest before dawn (mom usually comes back after dawn) and if its scattered, mom has returned, if it remains, then its abandoned. If it remains, give it at least one more day. Mom could be caught up in hiding from a predator etc. Also if you can, make some shelter over the nest. Ive seen hawks take them straight from under the fur/grass. I put my fireplace over in my backyard

Thanks! It's getting to that time of year (we don't have much ''Winter'' break anymore) and I know the rabbits are out there. Thought I'd watch a few vids to ''sharpen'' my eyes. I guess, I'll just set the blade up a little higher and hope for the best. I love to practice ''mindfulness'' while doing chores, so I'll be doing ''mindfulness of mowing grass AND looking for aby rabbit nests!''.
