That is a nice starter home. Livable as is, but definitely in need of updating. Especially the bathrooms. This home would be a great candidate for extending from 5 to 8 meters in back and extending the living area over the garage. Plus with the house extension, the garage could be extended as well granting a much desired working space there.

The house looks clean but why so many different floorings? I like the recessed lighting. The backyard is manageable. Third bedroom is crazy small.

It's a beautiful house, but much too big for me. Plus the back garden is disappointing, being all paved. I love to garden. I personally would rip out the pavement in the back, take out the sunroom, put in a lawn, plant some trees and shrubs and flowers, maybe put in a greenhouse. Pavement, no matter how lovely, doesn't feed the soul.

What a lovely house, mine was a grubby council house on a sink estate which had been painted pink. Love the outlook.

What a wonderful property. There seemed to be a gate leading off the courtyard, would this provide direct rear access to the self-contained unit? Visited Melksham recently and it is firmly in my sights, especially the conservation area. Bitter-sweet seeing this property as now so wishing I was ready to relocate but likely another 18 months away. But thank you for the lovely in-depth and inspiring tour.

The style of the front door is Georgian and that's 18th century. The timbered construction seems much older. It's a very interesting house that seems to have been well cared for by generations.
