I've just found your channel. Great to follow you. I'm living alone and renovating a huge property in Australia. I've used Airtasker a lot - even for lifting/holding/supporting things/unpacking etc. I'm not sure if you have Airtasker in NZ? Obviously can't ask them advice as they are also not really invested, but I've found Airtasker wonderful.

I agree lots of repair garages can rip you off they even charge you for work that's not been done, especially servicing the car properly which tome should be clased as dangerous. Loneliness is sad and can feel isolating we all need people especially partners or friends, but unless people care and understand you can still feel lonely in a room packed with people.

Hey Stacey, I like this. I'm on the same journey as you, but a few steps ahead. I post two videos a week of about 5 minutes each. Progress was very, very slow for about 6 months. I think the most difficult part is to get the 3000 hours of watch time. In 6 months I'd got just over 300 watch hours and was thinking of quitting. Then ... Last week, for some completely unfathomable reason, one video blew up and took me over the 1000 subs and 4000 hours in almost one day. I think that is the only way to do it. I've looked at a lot of videos giving advice and learned a lot: 1) be consistant - always post regularly and on the same day every week - establish a pattern that viewers can expect. 2) quality is probably more important than quantity - and thematically keep them similar, so you can develop a loyal audience. 4) Also, make the videos quite short. I know that longer means more watch time per video, but 15 mins is a big commitment and many people will simply not bother. If the vides are "bite-size" more people will bite. Hope that helps.
@staceysparadise8 ай бұрын
Hey there! Thanks for checking out my video and sharing your insights! It sounds like you've been on quite the journey, and I really admire your dedication to consistency and quality. It's incredible how sometimes, all it takes is one breakthrough moment to make a significant difference in our channels. Your experience is a testament to perseverance and the unpredictable nature of this platform. I'll definitely be swinging by your channel to give your content a watch and hit that follow button. It's so important for us small channels to support each other. Your advice about shorter videos makes a lot of sense. It's all about finding that sweet spot where we can engage our audience without overwhelming them. Thanks again for sharing your wisdom, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your content! Let's keep supporting each other on this journey!

I really hope your channel takes off sadly the ones that seem to fly are women who wear less clothes than they should be and that shows it's all about views not the content of the video and it also depends on which country your in because i find a lot of UK youtubers struggle not all but the majority. Keep plugging away i'm sure you will succeed because you make your videos interseting and the scenery on the tours is stunning.

Some good tips and advice must admit putting the roller in the washing machine is a new one on me, preparation is key and will make things easier and look nice in the long run. Was putting a curtain rail up above a hallway window in a previous house by the front door and drilled through a gas pipe, who puts a gas pipe there oh well all ended well. P,S. since then i use a stud / cable / pipe finder 😁
