Starburst should be bigger. Warm them in regular oven before putting them in the freezer dryer

Do you push and release prime button or hold until you see pellets? Waiting on mine now!
@theroadviking6279
@theroadviking6279 11 ай бұрын
Thanks for the question. Yes, you hold the prim button until you see the pellets start to fall into the burner pot, and then it should start to burn (within a few seconds) when you set the temperature dial. I hope this helps. Enjoy your new pellet grill, and thank you for watching.

They work great if you preheat them in the oven until they are almost puddles (dont go too far or they will turn into cotton candy)I warm on 200 and then cool the tray off before putting it into the machine

Yeah, with the starburst, there's not much change, I just think it's a cool experiment, but with the Bit-O-Honey and Skittles, there was a big difference, and I like the new candy better. All of my videos are for entertainment purposes rather than how too but I do appreciate the comments and different opinions on the subject. Thanks for watching 😀

When I started driving, I carried one of those portable charcoal grills, that I got from a Petro or a TA, around for about a year thinking I was gonna grill out on my 10. I never did lol. Finally I got tired of it rattling around in the bunk and left it at home. But if I ever go back to OTR I'll take this one with me, just to easy to use not too.
@mark7362
@mark7362 Жыл бұрын
@@theroadviking6279 yea hah, when I first went OTR in 2017 I had a little weber charcoal grill I bungie corded to the catwalk, I'd have a ton of downtime with the company I started with so I'd grill out shiskabobs and steak pretty often, but this grill is definitely the way to go, much better without the big mess of ash and then worrying about the wind blowing it out etc.
@mark7362

@@theroadviking6279 I think that this grill would fit in the passenger seat legroom space of most trucks, or possibly under the bunk, some guys are lucky to have trailers with belly boxes

Did you pre-freeze your starburst first? And also did your harvest break come with the candy mode or did you have to download the extra software for it? Thanks for the intro and thanks for a good video!

Thanks for the comment. I did per-freeze the starburst, it shortens the process time. I bought my Harvest Rite before the update so I had to download the update onto a thumb drive and install it manually. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

hello im using a different freeze dryer brand ,name lanphan and it requires to fill out the temperature for each time stamp and Im really struggling because im trying to freezedry some candies and it doesn’t puff up like urs so im wondering if you can help me out because i spent nearly all my saving on this freeze dryer😭

Thanks for the question. My freeze temp is set to -10 and my drying temp is set to 140. The whole process took approximately 2 hours when in candy mode. This video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZKsfJWticqimJo) shows how I set the machine to candy mode. I'm not familiar with Lanphan brand but it may be the same process. I hope this helps. TRV
