Just received my order for 3 lite bites from you and searched KZbin for tips, low and behold, your video popped up, lol! Looking forward to trying these! Thx for your help with the order and the video!

Question : I’m running a Garmin unit with the GT56uhd transducer. Should I be able to see a clear picture on plane. Shane talks about locating fish around while on plane. I can get a bottom reading but have a screen full of interferences. I’m guessing my transducer needs to be adjusted. Should it be clear?

Does anyone have a link from the Satelite site that they were referring to? I know they said MODIS but I can't find anything on that site.

Great video Mark! Thanks for the info. What do you suggest to target rainbows/steelhead in the lake this time of year? More of the same (higher up lines, 5 colours etc..) Or does their behaviour change much?

Does this work great with 20-30lbs mono? I know that standard divers work poorly with mono. Just trying to get thoses water fleas out of the way. So is mono manageable with the Lite Bite models?

Can you just run ten colour of leadcore to the reel and then just let out how many colours of leadcore you need for the depth you want to fish. That way one setup can be used for different depths.

Great video I hear you say that wire is the best for keeping off fleas. I was wondering about leadcore, being as it has a braid on the outside is it just as bad for getting fleas stuck on it like normal 40LBS braided line? I have never used it before and I would like to try it over wire so I do not have to purchase the different style trolling rod. Thanks!

Usually #2 in 2x strong will do but in some cases you can use #1, again every bait is different

Great info Mark, What’s the limit in Lake Ontario for Coho and Browns in terms of size and quantity per person with sport license? Thank you.

Thanks! No size limit on coho or browns... you can keep a combined limit of 5 salmon/trout (max 2 rainbows & Atlantic Salmon are the only ones with a minimum size)

Great tip. Just like to add that when you reel the backing on to the final reel , if it is a line counter reel, keep track of how long the backing line is so you can do the same on the second reel.

Great information Mark. Do you find that the brown relating to rocky shore lines chasing goby more than say the sand bottom in front of Charles Daily Park where the water warms faster.
