Only discovered this band recently after seeing the name appear on talk talk's Wikipedia entry. I agree with the comments about being reminiscent of talk talk's later work. For anyone interested in an artist with a similar style of music to this, i can recommend amon tobin. I came by that artist after discovering they had composed the soundtrack for splinter cell chaos theory.

I was lucky enough to see AFOS way back in the 80's. I will never forget them. I know everyone goes crazy about Paul, BUT the other members contributed to their sound also. The four of them were magic together and I am still mad that they broke up. All that fighting and for what?? For the world to lose their fantastic music. Mike Score is one hell of a good songwriter. Check out his solo album Zeebratta here on KZbin. I am still going to hold out hope that they will get together again and maybe do a small tour. I saw the new lineup of AFOS two times and it just was not magic at all. Without the other three, it's just not a good feeling. You gotta have Frank, Ali, Mike and Paul or it's just not, nor will it ever be AFOS.

Saw the Cure at the now defunct Roseland ballroom in NYC way back. I think they had just released Bloodflowers. Great time for sure.

$0.003-$0.005 per stream How much money do artists make on Spotify? Artists make an estimated $0.003-$0.005 per stream, depending on where they're played, their listeners' subscription type, and how often their songs are streamed. A distributor and record label may also take a cut from the profit.Jul 22, 2024
