Why are you using petroleum products.

Hi there, thank you for your comment! I have been using petroleum Jelly for over 4o years and have never had an issue. I am just sharing with you how I make my Rosemary Ointment. Of course, everybody should do their own research and make up their own mind. If it’s not for you, please substitute it with a different product and experiment, that’s the beauty of hand-crafting 🌟🙂

Thank you for sharing this. What is the purpose of the slit at the side seam? I didn't see how you used it.

Thanks, easy to make. Needed a few adjustments: For waist of 95cm, make the pattern piece A 25cm long and cut on the fold (so the opened out piece is 50cm long (about half circumference of waist). I didn't consider the ties though, needed to make these double the length to ensure enough to wrap to the front and tie. I used iron on interfacing to give the material a little more stiffness - only really need to add to piece A.

People have been using petroleum jelly for a century or more. Doctors recommend it, how is it toxic unless you drink a gallon of it?

How long does the rosemary oil last before expiring?
@StudioMio95
@StudioMio95 Жыл бұрын
If you use ethanol to make the oil, you can keep it in the fridge for approx. one year but I recommend using it earlier as the scent will fade. FYI - If you use it to make an ointment, it will last about 1 month in the fridge. Please keep in mind these are just general guidelines as this is a homemade product and the final product can vary greatly depending on ingredients and methods used to make it. Hope this information helps!

These sheets are easily available in the market? The waterproof sheet, bamboo sheet? I only see cotton sheets or lawn or Swiss lawn sheets in the local markets
@StudioMio95
@StudioMio95 2 жыл бұрын
You can purchase them (or something similar) from online shops. If you can’t get waterproof sheet in your location you can use light weight waterproof fabrics (PUL fabric) which are used in baby nappies. An alternative to bamboo fabric is cotton fabric. (something soft and gentle) Hope this helps! 🙂

Joann store has this iron on stuff called heat n Bond that comes in a roll to water proof cotton fabric. Don’t iron it too much or it will scorch.
