the dope thing about this and the memes and ironyposting around it is that as hilarious as it is it's also unironically just good acting. he's not some omnipotent god like the typical superhero, mentally he's still just a dude trying to save the person he loves in the most insane situation ever and he's genuinely stressed the fuck out how he just did all this crazy shit to defeat her captor and save her and now she could just die from some trifling ass shit falling on her and for a split second he has no idea if he can stop it from happening. lowkey terrifying and kind of disturbing situation, with a hilariously relatable response from tobey. it's some courage the cowardly dog type shit. tobey's spiderman is one of the best superhero portrayals ever even with the corny emo-pandering in the 3rd movie. he's fucking awesome
