Judah was once the fretless bass playing ring leader of a tin circus 🎪. And Josh had us all believing in The conspiracy.

I had the privilege of seeing these dudes open for Minus The Bear in San Antonio, TX @ The White Rabbit (If I'm not mistaken). I had never heard of them, and as a young musician at the time, I was immediately sucked in by the insane grooves, the killer playing, and Judah's vocals. Their collective musicianship was out of this world, especially for the indie scene at the time. A very treasured memory. This band is criminally underrated.

I smoked weed with these guys after a show once like 14 years ago. It was horribly awkward and basically no conversation was had. Good times.

The second-long blasting bursts on the drums is crucial to this experience. Casey is just killin

I remember, I shook Judahs hand and said "thank you". That's it. It was at a bar show. I could've bothered him and Casey about this and that. I helped Violent Soho out with their shit at the same spot once. All I did was shake his hand and say my piece. That's all I ever needed for every moment this band has touched me. Just thanks♥️

Okay, can we all here admit? This is the most underlooked talent of the last ten years. I shook Judah's hand and told him "Thank you!" I see no reason why The Velvet Teen shouldn't be in everyone's ears. Glorious exposition after glorious exposition. They may be ahead of their time. In time we can only find ourselves and others, alike.

Kelsey McGee I saw them months ago. I can't shake the suspension that they were in the wrong place at the right time. They seem always behind their time. One day a band will emerge and say "The Velvet Teen inspired me!". I hope it happens soon!

Far as I know the drummer in this song/video is perfectly fine, their original drummer became ill and left the band almost 8 years before this song was released. But yeah still sucks lol

Correction. he is the hardest hitting rock drummer you have ever seen and probably will ever see. Other musical styles call for different types of skill and techniques.
