You have to be very careful when it comes to 2 by 2 matrix, if you apply + , -, + , -, sequence. It doesn't work on 2 by 2. Here, you have to use the cofactors rule of i and j. I made that mistake before.

It's formula for cofactor of minor elements (_1)i+j that's y we are taking negative one instead of positive one.
