If one of my parents was Polish but I was born, educated and raised in e.g. Finland, I would identify as Finish because that’s my language, my memories, my friends, my life as a whole is Finish. Many Americans, especially those, who want to be internet famous, only care about their ancestry to be quirky, feel special and gain attention whilst having no connection to the actual culture of their ancestors or any idea of the nation’s values, mentalities, manners and all the other quirks that make all the cultures unique.

She didn't say anything shocking or horrid in polish, though it took me a while to understand (pronunciation was bit horrid, but polish is hard for english speakers so good for her for trying). It was just her lyrics Karma's a bitch = karma to suka etc Poland has no interest in oversees influencers, or just mild one and only small percentage. Most heard of Mr beast but not of Markiplier for example, and though they heard of beast, they only know him as he was introduced years ago and not the things that came out (though it's a huge deal everywhere else), so that interest is rather superficial. She could represent Poland though she's not Polish on Eurovision (I've been corrected), but she most likely wouldn't cause she's not very recognized in Poland. Most artists that go to euv are known locally, fresh, barely made few hits or even just one and hope to make it big after, like Maneskin did.
