Good video, some great tips I'll be using in my prints. We have a Bambu Lab P1s which I'm sure you know does most of the hardware setup stuff automatically, but your slicer settings were very interesting! I'm going to try that on some of my more failure prone prints. Thank you! 😊

...and this is for a SE. I have a KE which is supposed to be auto calibration/leveling and Z offset. Do you know it's been 9 months, 3 tickets filed with Creality, a complete hotbed replacement (Creality sent me the parts under warranty), countless calibration tests, countless adjustments to hardware and I still can't get a level first layer. I'm thinking after 9 months it's about time to get an A1 mini.

I can also print perfect pieces with a 0.2mm nozzle, 0.1mm layer height, 100mm/s? It's not about printing "nice pieces" here. See the settings - I am literally pushing the limits and printing at 500mm/s to see how Klipper handles it VS Marlin. The limitation is pretty much the PETG though. It strings like crazy, it's not made to print at high flow.

@reddotgeek
@reddotgeek 13 күн бұрын
Why would I want to remove the touch sensor? It fits without any issues, no modifications needed with this hotend upgrade. And no, not going to make more videos on this. Flow rate is very subjective BTW - Type of filament, temperature, nozzle size, print speed, etc...

I can tell you that kit upgrade it a piece of shit. Gone thru the one I bought and 2 replacements by the company. The stock screws for the fan won't hold to the new heatsink. Then the screws that hold the hot-end to the heatsink have failed coming loose and falling out, as well as the nozzle has come loose every time after a few prints. Some major flaws to that replacement kit.

Hi Mate! Latelly i have some problems with my 3 V3 SE, the filament don't melt well, and it won't stay in the bed, also, the filament that extrudes sometimes make little balls or don't go off the Noozle... I tried to clean the Noozle, change it, calibrate the bed several times, adjust the Z-Offset, update firmware, adjust the belts and adjust the bed screws, change the filament and test with other temperatures and speeds but NOTHING works... What else can I try? Do you have similar problems? Thanks!
@reddotgeek

Adhesion problems - Try switching to a textured PEI plate, add some 3D printer PVA glue before printing. Also, slow down the first layer, I sometimes go as slow as 10~30mm/s.

Hey. On my kit, I received two Teflon tubes (28mm and 22mm), which use (I think the 22mm). And the Thermal Grease? It's just to fill the package ? :) One more question: To reach 300 degres, you are using Klipper, right ?
@reddotgeek
@reddotgeek 24 күн бұрын
I have swapped between 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 nozzles. Not once have I used the Thermal Grease... So yep, guess it's there to fill up space. 🤣 I have only gone up to 240c for PETG, but if I remember correct - You will have to do some changes in the config file.

Well, yes and no. The nozzle is one thing, the filament another - You can only print as fast as the filament allows. You will have to get a roll of high flow or high speed filament if you want to go fast.

It seems as though auto leveling is a gift from god but in reality once you get it you realize you like being able to turn a single screw to adjust your bed. I have wasted so much time waiting for my bed to level itself, only to not be level like I want it. My ender 3 v3 se was great until it wasn’t. I wish I would’ve spent my money on a Bambu labs printer instead.

@reddotgeek

1) Higher max temperature - The ceramic hotend can go up to 300c, allowing you to print Nylon and Polycarbonate. 2) Faster heating - Literally cuts the initial heating time into seconds. 3) Quick swap - Don't need to take out the cover/sock, no preheat required. Just replace the nozzle directly.
