So, the running theory is these assets are leftovers from a possible tech demo that was produced internally to pitch a game with 3D graphics in the field and in battle. Bits have nothing to do with this.

I wanted to watch what was happening on the top screen, because when I play this game, I'm so focused on concentrating on hitting the notes that I can never see my band playing... I'm glad I wasn't missing much, lol. this is still my all-time favorite game on the 3DS, the gameplay is super satisfying and I love creating my own band. ...even though the graphics are janky (but to be fair, like 80% of games on the 3DS have kinda janky graphics) and I hate the selection of songs, there are only a handful of songs that are fun to play and even fewer songs that I actually like, mostly because I'm a metalhead, and the songs are just, pop, pop rock and classic rock... which for a game called ROCK Band, is kinda disappointing... not to mention the selection of songs feels so random, like, Humanoid, Portions For Foxes, Combat Baby, Lasso, Hardest Button To Button, Rock Lobster, Walking On The Sun, and Roundabout, like, it just feels like one of the game developers ripped a random list of songs off their iPod and put them in the game, instead of big hits.

Can confirm as well. I was wondering about that until I read that its been patched and I have recieved it after completing all the battles. Also, for the V5 fight of this, Tangy Natsu has a video that gets it 100 percent of the time.

Yoo thank you so much for this guide, I woulda never figured out these battles! And that earth dragon one that you said you gotta get lucky on I got it second try (thank goodness) Oh and for the V5 battle, There's this guy Tangy Natsu has a vid for it a 100 win everytime guide so i'd recommend them for that. I'm playing the Legacy Collection and I finally got the trophy for this.

I really hate the fact that the battles already have so much RNG in them and then they felt the need to also put them on a time limit that cant result in anything else but a draw. Just horrible. I really hate this part of the game and that they locked a chip behind it.

I've gotten everything until the Object pointer. First, not exactly sure what "0x00" and the like means, I've only been able to keep up until this point by following each set of 2 numbers. From "0x0C" onward in the guide, I stopped understanding. Any chance you can help me?

I believe it's referring to the relative position from the start that is given. The 0x denotes hexadecimal, so it counts in 16s. 10 is 0x0A, 11, is 0x0B, and 12 is 0x0C. That tells you the position of the next type of data in the sequence.

@MegaRockReborn 1st, thanks for responding, I really appreciate it. 2nd, there are only 4 more sets of digits, 0x0C - 0x0F, until the next line. In the guide, it says the object pointer is 0x0C, and then goes on to say that 0x00 is Enemy data. But the line ends at 0x0F, and the next line seems to be a whole other battle. So when it says, for instance, Dark Colonel/Colonel Alpha, I don't know where to put it.

@@thatgamergideon0596 Right, those last 4 bytes in the row are the pointer. It's an address that you go to. When you follow it, that's where the battle data is that controls who spawns where. They should each be 4 bytes, if I recall. The player is always set first.

The last 4 bytes in MegnetMan Alpha's battle, i.e. 0x0C - 0x0F (where the guide says to replace the battle) are 08 11 42 A8. Is this the address I need to go to in the memory viewer to alter the data (I'm looking to replace him with Dark Protoman or Dark Colonel)? Because if that is, the entire row is just 0s in every byte. @@MegaRockReborn

Gregar is stronger than Falzar in the anime, but Falzar is the harder of the two to fight in the actual games. Granted, I wonder if Gregar would be a bit tougher if he didn't have two hitboxes.
