Yeah I saw this as a kid in the arcade once or twice and I’m kicking myself mentally/metaphorically for not playing it back then! 🙄 Dude! You got an Amazing score! 😎 Now I want to play it SO BADLY! 😩

this game took some practice to get used to watching the shadow, but if you watch 2 players that are really good, it's one of the best sports simulations ever done. As a tennis player myself, the rhythm of the game once you learn how to play it is dead on.

That thumbnail/ poster is a dead ringer for Aladdin. Wonder if it's a coincidence or the Disney animators took some inspiration

What a great port of a classic game. When they released this in 1983, they had finally figured out how to push the 2600 to its limit. Demon Attack came out in 1982, but I like Phoenix better.

Not a bad port for the 2600

Somehow this coincides with a comic book series from DC Comics with each chapter packed in the boxes of select Atari VCS games.

Was this a tie-in with the movie "Cloak & Dagger" starring Dabney Coleman and Henry Thomas?
@davintheraven19 күн бұрын
Yes. The main character in this game (and in the movie) is Jack Flak. Also, the secret military plans the bad guys were trying to get in the movie were on a copy of this cartridge.
@williamcrowe257621 күн бұрын
You wouldn't find graphics like these on an Atari VCS cartridge, or for that matter top secret schematics for a stealth bomber.

My very first video game. Always played it with my dad and my brother. I remember I was fascinated by the controller back then. And as a kid I always thought that the 2 pixel holes were the boxer's eyes. I found out way too late...

Key to this game is to go directly to the 4th floor and get the Speed Shoes. Then you can go to the other floors and pick up the other items you need. It's a heck of a lot easier avoiding the enemies with those Speed Shoes. Thanks for the gameplay, good stuff! 👍 👍

This game was developed by Bally Midway, not by Namco. Professor Pac-Man and Mr. & Mrs. Pac-Man were the last two Pac-Man games developed by Bally Midway until Namco took them to court for making too many unauthorized sequels without permission.

This is the first time I've actually seen someone evade the guards at the ice rink. That alone is an achievement in my books. Another super rare arcade that I would love to have in my collection, but I should actually go and earn some money first.
