I've also been looking at cheap old reds... And theres a red mag hack out there..using a dummy empty mag and then extend the SATA out the back of the mag (easy to find on KZbin). I too was looking at the hdmi monitor option🤔 I suppose you could use an Átomos 4k recorder with sdi in as a monitor and as a media recorder too🤔 2 birds.... 1 stone?. Good luck with your purchase

Watching this after an incredible deal. I scored an a7r II at some 12 000 actuations for the ridiculous amount of 500 EUR. It had the infamous problem with the message where the camera did not finish writing and it demanded the same card to be inserted. After a lot of research, I fixed it by swiftly pressing 10 times both messages. I gave it for a sensor cleanup, and viewfinder cleanup, since it did not switch automatically to LCD screen. I paid just 50 EUR more for that and for a silicone case. I own so many batteries and cards...I bought 28-60 to make a compact point and shoot, and the APS-C on gives some addition range. I have an a7c, but I was shocked to see the detail - a flying seagull, not in focus...the eyes were so detailed, as if in focus. I can easily use it for 10 years and sell it for the same price.

You don’t have to explain yourself stating that you’re not a feature filmmaker or major production for movies, etc. you can easily film a feature on this camera set up. I don’t know why people think you need $100,000 camera to make a movie you don’t.

I've been trying out some of the older Nikon pro bodies. All I'll say is the D2X and D2XS are a massive upgrade from the D2H. The D2H is still capable but man the D2X and D2Xs are way more pleasing to shoot with. Also the Tamron 70-200 G2 kicks ass with the D2XS

Its nowhere near $250 for the body and lens...stop lying lol. The body alone goes for $450-500, the mint condition ones still go for $900. That $450-500 gets you a good Nikon or Canon DSLR with a handful of lenses. Still doesn't make sense to go for Sony or Fuji if you're looking for best value for your dollar.
@futc.photography
@futc.photography 11 күн бұрын
That might be the case in the US, but I paid 250 bucks for the body, and sold it again for the same.

@@futc.photography where are you based out of then? cause it seems I get a lot of video recommendations on my homepage that are made by people from non english speaking countries, but the content creator like yourself is speaking english. Is most of your audience in english in US and UK? if your speaking english I'm just naturally gonna assume your in the UK, US or AUS and are using our prices, but prices in AUS is extremely overpriced so I always rule them out of everything lol. Seems kinda weird to say "Hey guys look I got this camera for $100" in English but your living in Afghanistan lol

My videos are viewed in 100+ countries, I can’t take every single market into account, especially because the price could suddenly change at any time after I post the video. I’ll say the price I paid at the time of recording, and that’s all I can do…

The X-T30 is a super nice camera, but I don't know I guess I simply never really vibed with the color science from the X-Trans IV sensor. The X-Trans II was nice but a little too old when it comes to specs, the sweetspot is for me the X-Trans III you can find in cameras like the X-T20 and X-T2. I tried to use an X-T20 as it really looked like a good camera to carry around, small, good sensor ect but MAN the ergos on that thing are really not my thing. I do prety much everything with the viewfinder and the EVF being so small on the X-Tx0 series just makes it kinda horrible to use in my opinion. Not unusable, far from it, simply not enjoyable at all. Same can be said about the control structure : the camera simply lacks stuff that are generally present on other cameras, like oh I don't know, a way to change the ISO without going into a menu and needing to set a custom button for it? Also, I am cursed with big hands, and when I had an X-T20, I had to use it with an additional grip otherwise it would just slip out of my hands. I never handled an X-T30, but it looks to be exactly the same as the X-T20 when it comes to size, EVF ect... except there the Q meny button is in a weird spot and there is no D-pad anymore, removing 4 custom buttons that were badly needed. All of this pushed me to turn myself to the camera that I consider to be the sweetspot for the budget conscious Fujifilm shooter : the X-T2. Larger body which is still compact, lots of buttons, D pad + joystick, ISO dial, LARGE viewfinder and the bonus of the side tilt screen is really nice. Performance wise you don't loose anything besides maybe a slightly less smart AF system which I'll be honest I don't think matters that much. Video is awesome, I bought the vertical grip for it and when attaching it with it and a lens that has OIS the X-T2 turns into a video beast (for the price I mean). The colors are better (to my eye anyway), you still have the same amount of DR, and you don't get higher noise, which is really nice to see. Honestly the X-T2 would be the camera I'd recommend to anyone looking for a Fujifilm camera they'd keep a while. It really stood the test of time on my end.

Very good video! I have been a professional photographer for over 40 years. Next year in 2025 I am going full time KZbin, obviously there will be a huge drop in money for a good while as I'm only at 1,100 subs! However I am older and had a stroke few years back, and in a bad car wreck that messed up my back. So we decided that in 7 years our KZbin channel should bring in a decent amount of money with affiliates and YT. Also I don't think I could physically shoot many more 8-10 hour weddings or photograph 100 seniors on a Saturday. Having done photography for 40 years helped with the YT part of lighting, and then a learning curve in audio (Slowly getting it tweaked). Learning editing has been the hardest part. I have just learned it all on my own and I still have a long way to go with editing. Social Blade FWIW says we should be at around 120,000 subs in 5 years. So bottom line as I get older the channel will be getting bigger and bringing in more money that I could make due to health reasons. Plus people trained me, I had some great photography friends in Atlanta that took me under their wing and helped me along the way. I even got a call from one of them to go photograph George H Bush, I was only 17 (Started at 15) I couldn't believe they would ask me to do something like that, but I did and it worked. Sorry to ramble on, It seems we have a lot of seasons in our lives, once I was the young kid asking questions, now most of the ones who trained me have passed away, and KZbin is my way of giving back like it was given to me! You strike me as someone who will be very successful! Loved your video and I didn't mean to write a book, lol.. Thanks!
