In big cities you will have access to your products. Unfortunately it is not economic for a small drugstore in a village to have those kinds of products. Obviously, duh. I bet, there is no German stuff in small shops in villages in countries with black majorities. Also obviously, duh. I am sad that you sometimes feel uncomfortabel and are even mistreated here.

I am lucky, I‘ve never been scammed so far in this way. I don’t use WhatsApp for these exact problems, 'cause I‘m scared that this might be occur. People only can contact me directly through a safe messenger or via short message service. For unsafe communication or social media I use an alias name which is not connected to my person or us just for getting in contact initially. I prefer safe methods to do private communication.

Hello , okay regarding the Apostille of the documents if its birth certificate or marriage certificate there the faster and cheapest way to do it which is to just take the original and go physically to DIRCO in Pretoria and they will apostille it on the spot for free in 10 minutes ... you just need to go early because they take only 30 people a day. hope these helps

This video was so nice to watch! very relaxed vibe, really like a friend just sharing things. I got interested cause youre from SA a country i visited 3 years ago and miss a lot since then.. i live in the netherlands and its where i grew up! But i never felt really at home for some reason... ive only been in germany one time but i remember it very well, as a child; we went on a holiday to italy and we stayed 1 night (2 days) in germany. I remember the hills the beautiful fields full of flowers and i absolutely loved it. As a child i never knew where it was but now as an adult i know it was germany. I became a mom at 18.. my son is now 18 years old! I thought a lot of moving countrys but since im a single mom and just how my life went that never happened. Now im not sure i would still move but at least i like to expierence a lot more places, like germany i just look forward to see it again after such a long time! Well.. this whole message is more long and chaotic than planned but i just wanted to comment cause when you said: we need eachother.. i really feel thats so true! Maybe youre on instagram? Im not good with email but if youre on instagram please add me @foratimeasthis My name is Esther Huisman

These videos can somehow get on one’s nerves … you managed to move to Germany which by itself is massive success which most people can only dream of … the things that people „wished they knew before moving“ is not really what’s going to expedite one’s resistance permit before even leaving one’s local country … the administrative headache AFTER actually moving there are part of the actual success of actually moving

I enjoyed your content the only problem is your repeated use of people of colour, we are black people and we should not take on any diminishing labels put on us by other people. from my understanding, all humans are 'people of colour' there are different tones of colour in every race.

(You can also answer in English, for me it was simpler to express myself in German and I understood that you're speaking German, too.)

I'm very familiar with German bureaucracy for decades but I hink your critic and judgment makes no sense without some context. Which other bureaucracy are you comparing it to? ever tried to settle in France? Recently saw videos of Brits trying to relocate after Brexit, and it's certainly no fun. THE UK? several larger city declaring bankruptcy years of waiting time for the NHS. Italian bureaucracy is a night mare even simple things like postal services are not reliable. There are many videos of US immigrants to Portugal basically reporting failure of their dreams. Europe is no longer the dream it once may have been. However many other country and regions are probably worse than what's going on here. Chances are the world order that we knew until 2019 will not return even once the war in Ukraine will be ended. But again the consequences will effect most countries. oh, one tip re medical treatments: it's always a good idea to check on budget prices for dentists and other doctors in nearby eastern Europe. Bulgaria Poland etc. which often can be billed through your existing german health insurance.

Thanks for watching and for engaging. This particular video focuses on my lived experience in Germany. It isn’t not a comparison video about Europe so the expectation cannot be that I speak of experiences I haven’t had. Those who have traveled Europe in its entirety are welcome to share their perspective.. this is mine and I did not position myself as all knowing in this video.

Motherhood is such a beautiful mess for all of us, and honestly I can’t, for the life of me, understand any mom that would pass judgement on any other whether for being a single mom or “letting herself go” or even a snotty nose child! 😅Anyway, much love to you and your bambinos.

But isn't the accessible issue is part of traveling in general? I as a tall German person I have trouble buying cloths in countries with a shorter population (outside of tourism in day to day live) Personally if I see someone trying; like getting professional training, working or learning (the language) to me that means the person has understood and aprecheates the values of our society rather than just using it to the persons benefit without giving back. As a German I very much think everyone has to contribute thier part so we are able to navigate though personal and national crisis with each others support (social benefits or health care for example). Unfortunately there are people abusing this system and I think this is why espially as a foreign (assumed to not share our ethics) you have to show you are making an effort (but don't think that Germans who don't contibute aren't juged either). Once you do that people have increased respect and people usually don't care where you are from (maybe out of curiosity).
