You may be allergic to something that you weren't a week ago. I say this because of my own experience, I was never allergic to shell fish and seafood, peanut, nuts, pumpkin seeds, apples and more, but now I am. I was told by docs, allergist that about every seven years our bodies change and what we might not be allergic yesterday we can become allergic today. I hope that you will be able find the cause. Take care. love your style and art.

Really appreciate seeing you :face to face"! You are so amazing, as is your work, and you're as delightful to look at as well as to listen to and learn from. So glad you've chosen to share yourself authentically with others here; by doing so, you inspire us to do the same. Blessings!

Robyn, yours is the first time that I see the point for building an art journal. No one else’s mixed media journals have given me any inspiration like yours has done. I’m heading on over to Patreon to help you and share your journey.

I love seeing your face Robyn. I’ve been thinking about your new authentic approach. You were my first inspiration a year ago to start gel printing and making collages. Your creativity resonates with my soul. If I have a decade left on this earth I hope to make some inroads a la Robyn.

Yay for you getting in front of the camera! It's so nice to see you. My new year's resolution was to find and connect more with "my people" and it is great to see that others feel the same way. I love your new direction! 👏👏👏

Happy New Year, Robyn. Would love to hear some discussion on how other aspects of your life influence your art.

Happy to see you emphasising authenticity, for yourself and others. We could deepen the practicality of how to find your unique way and staying true to that. Collage, bookmaking and more spiritual wisdom seem great topics to explore. I am especially wondering how to integrate all those little notes, sketches, poetry in a way that is aesthetically pleasing. Personally, I am wondering how to find my audience in a way that suits my style and makes enough money for me to live from. Because time is precious and I would rather spend it creating art journals for people and making mail art to send out to the world. With interest in people's interests, I will go explore this treasure trove of a comment section!

I love this and am so excited. I’ve been watching your videos for the past 5 years and have always admired the freedom and joy you seem to create with and find in creating. I told myself that 2025 is all about finding that joy and freedom in creating again and leaning into that feeling above all else. My goals the last few years has been getting an art career to pop off. But I went through a lot last year that made it clear to me that contentment and engaging in things I enjoy because I enjoy them need to be at the top of my priority list. I have the backwards fortune of being disabled and not needing to go out and work to keep a roof above my head. And instead of chasing what I feel “normal people” chase I just want to create my own. So this year is all about experimenting with my art for me and what I love. I think a pause journal will be a great addition to my mission this year!

Hi Robyn, I was so happy to see a video by you come up in my feed. You know how we are just captivated by certain things, without seeing it ahead? I have renewed my alignment with spirit recently and was really drawn to listening to what you had to say. It's just that "vibe" about you. I want to honor who you are at the core and acknowledge that service you have given through your teaching and gathering videos, your soulful art, writing and genuine personhood. This world so needs people like that and you have been doing it a long time. So thank you, thank you. It makes a difference. It counts in the overall scheme of things. May all your followers have the joy of becoming this year. Would love to hear you talk about the very real difference art can make in us individually and as a group in creating a balance of energy in this world where the negative has been so prevalent. I think it's essential to our well-being.

Hi Robyn I’ve not been here on your channel for months due to complicating issues. Today you popped up at the perfect moment! Seeing your face was soooo connecting for me. It brought back the days with Ewe's Herlot book and introducing you to my Japanese friend, Ayako Abe Miller. Interestingly, she reached out to me recently, sending me a gift from her recent trip to Japan to visit her family! The three of us coming together today was awesome! I love the idea of your novella! (Love fiction!) Love your idea of talking face to face this year about all things left and right brain. You pause, think, reflect, and then speak the ideas you’ve meditated on in a deep and meaningful way…that’s difficult for me to do. Thank you for this direction. (I’m sending healing love regarding your mysterious allergic reaction💖). Get well soon…we NEED you! 💖

So yesterday I actually had a word of the year pop into my head. Hadn’t planned on picking one this year, it just showed up and felt right. I haven’t checked in here for a while but it was first on my KZbin list today and I was intrigued by your theme. Beyond intrigued since the word that had come to me yesterday was “pause.” Woo woo?…hmmm. Whatever it is I am paying attention now! I am sorry you are having allergic symptoms. I also would consider supplies you are working with. Really looking forward to walking this walk with you this year.

Robyn, your journal is truly inspiring to me, as well as your message to be authentic and true to one's self. I am going to start using up all the fabrics, papers, ribbons, threads, etc., and half-finished or past projects that never made it to a frame or my wall or even outside the box it has been stored in! I'm 67 and want to pour the rest of whatever creativity I have left into beautiful blank journals that are pieces of art that tell a part of my story. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have to ask you how long you’ve been exposed and/or touching peacock feathers? You mentioned your allergies bothering you. Whenever there’s a peacock feather near me, I develop serious allergies. I don’t even have to touch it. But I find that if I coat it with some kind of a clear spray sealer, I’m ok.
