Susan [still pic] looks like she has t styled like Mark Lindsay, album cover for Arizona (?). The Cowsills were definitely under rated.

"Where's all that money in the trust fund, dad?" ... "What trust fund?" They ended up with nothing but an income tax bill thanks to dad, Bud Cowsill, who blew all the money and never told the family where it went. He did pay each member $1000 later on before checking out.

I'm reading these comments , I mean really? I grew up in this era and I can't zero in on why these kind of performances are off putting to me. I know the Cowsills were popular and I get it but as a child of the 70s the whole damn decade was a huge cringe. Maybe because every group dressed in matching ugly.

This was the beginning of the end for the Cowsills , they never recovered from their horrible dad kicking Bill out of the family….big mistake 👎🏼👎🏼

They sure don't make em like that anymore! Good looking , incredibly talented singers , and musicians. Who deserved so much more than the piece if trash father they had who spent all of their money , and treated them like pure refuse. I almost go to tears when I watched the documentary of this awe inspiring bunch , and their line of incredible memorable hits. I sure hope they had SOME love , and peace in their childhoods. They so earned it .

What was the deal with Susan practically resting her head on Johnny Cash's leg? There's an even creepier bit with her on I think the Dean Martin show when she is sitting on Deano's lap... uck
@CastleOfThoughts7 ай бұрын
What was the deal with Shirley Temple openly flirting with men in her films? That was scripted while Susan just showed up to sing a sing on tv and there were no re-takes if something filmed came off looking cringy. Dean Martin certainly never did retakes. I think they were going for something cute, missed the mark and they just let it be. But you'll never see that clip on an official Dean Martin "Best Of" compilation. And no child thinks first before leaning their head over near someone else. They're kids. They are not thinking about how their every move may be interpreted.
