I see one of these every night in Texas for several years now but I don't think they are stars I also see the red and blue twinkling lights almost every time

That is the star Capella. The reason why it is "flashing" is because of its. Light is hitting our atmosphere over the horizon. The reason why it is flashing is because it is 42.92 lightyears away from us.

I was smoking a cigarette looking at the stars and noticed a white dot close to one of the stars and then it started to blink red and white. As soon as I started staring at the object it started to move really fast which left a white streak on the sky and this was at night. It stopped and started floating back and then it disappeared. This wasn't a drone or airplane. It freaked me out and gave me goosebumps. Never seen anything move so fast and agile like that so high up in the sky.

Sorry I should have mentioned I am in Indiana.

I have five or sometimes six of them surrounding my house in a circle. Of course not just my house they are way out in the skylight that but if I go for my front yard to my side yard to my backyard to my other side I can see them and they're in the same spot every single night.

I see these regularly on the North Coast of California, from Loleta to Klamath. There are dish type ships as well. These flickering ones. I see at the south side of the entrance to Humboldt Bay. Usually they're red. I took some videos with my phone. I'll try to pull them up on a larger screen to analyze further. The videos also caught that my truck was moving, like there were people jumping on the bumper but nobody there. The back of the truck began lifting. I looked right at them and asked if they were doing that and they got bright and the movement stopped. Pretty freaky but awesome too. Def got the sense that they're plugged in and know what's happening here.

Just saw something similar to this, after blinking/flashing for about a minute it stopped. Then a few minutes later there was another bright flash about a quarter of the way across the sky and then it was just gone.

So any updated explanations today in 2022? No need to say Capella. It is not,due to the fact being there a more than 1 in the sky in North Carolina.
