What you have experienced in life is wonderful. But not all of us had what you had. I don't hate my parents, I don't love my parents. I was taught by the ministry live your life with honor. By doing that, you honor you mother and father.

@peterdoughty2285 God also teaches us forgiveness...not all parents are perfect or worthy of love and honor, I get that...we certainly don't want to carry around that hurt, that disappointment, and that resentment...that can be burdening...you DO live a life of honor to your Heavenly Father, and you share the love you have in your heart with others...that does not go unrecognized, brother ❤️

Great pod cast. For someone that wasn't raised with the truth of the word. To have been treated badly . Your thoughts are if God exists why does he let bad things happen to me. If God is so loving he wouldn't let these things happen to me.

I hear you talking. Most so-called councilors only care about money. They don't care about the person..

Speaking of music, few years into my Christian walk I got convicted by God on the types of movies I was watching and also the music I was listening to. The one verse that really stuck out to me was Philippians 4:8. It really helped me in making decisions on what I would watch and what I would listen to. 4:8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

YES!!! we need to be so selective with what we allow to take occupancy in our thoughts...I am so thankful we have the Word of God to show us what we can think on instead of the negatives and all the worldly opinions...
