I made this for my 6mo grand-nephew. A few of them, i like this method. Once you make one, you'll realize that It's actually a lot quicker and easier than the tutorial seems to appear. His momma was having trouble finding big hats to fit his head that also have enough length to cover his ears. I used 19" x 10" and they fold up twice. Two things I will note to make this quicker and easier to understand 1.) when drawing your curved line, the marks and cut will be on the open side (the other side is just a solid fold). 2.) It said "wrong side together" but it's actually as you always sew fabric, RIGHT SIDES TOGETHER. Thank you so much. I can't wait to try more in different sizes!

Hi, pattern downloaded and material cut,but having trouble following the video, does the material go wrong sides together? Also, how did You sew from the end of the zipper? I’m confused, lol. Any help is appreciated
@lhaisimon2 жыл бұрын
Hello! Sorry if the video skipped some of the process. You should sew the neck part and the sides of the cotton and fleece (front part of the baby sack; wrong sides together). After that you have 2 pcs. the left and the right side. Then depending on the length of your zipper, you have to sew the bottom middle part of each fabric (cotton to cotton, fleece to fleece) maybe around 1 cm or 2, so they will be connected. Then you can sew the whole bottom part for closure. After that turn it inside out and then attached the zipper, make sure to fold the seam inside together as you sew for a cleaner look. Hope this make sense, just let me know if you have more questions! ☺️

If you had cut the corners before turning it the right side out you’d have been able to get a nice good point in each corner rather than them being slightly rounded

Hello @MissMindey, the pattern is nice and very adjustable, maybe you can just add an inch or two on each sides of the triangle depending on your head size and you can have the adult size 😉
