The one we had ran so good it would never sit on a table like that. It was ready to and would walk itself to the neighbors yard if you left it running. The sound is unmistakable though. I heard another guy with one that was bogging down on a small piece of wood. Broke my heart because our families would absolutely tear through giant trees at full rpm. You could pitch the spikes into it and just lever it like crazee. Thanks for posting this.

Depot Bay, Oregon. The entire Oregon coast is absolutely gorgeous! This video is on a calm day. I've gone out of here on a fishing charter on a rough day and the swells felt like I was on a bucking bronco!!

It's a smudge pot. They were used in orchard to keep frost away from the blossoms in the spring time. They burn diesel fuel, waste oil, heating oil or old cooking oil. This one is burning old motor oil.

A friend of mine gave me a DB, I'm pretty sure it's a 1964 model yr, not positive. I took it apart and used a scuff pad on an air grinder to get the hammer tone coating off of it and then sanded the crap out of everything and polished it up! Next is to get it runnin again! It's badass looking!

There might be better saws out there, but my 3400 never left me hanging! I've ran 18" 20" and even a 24" bar on mine.

Ya they are hard. These are basically considered disposable saws.
