Excellent job! Finally I'm seeing footage of Angel live which I've never seen in my life! Angel are way, way overlooked in a lot of music circles, but are one of the greatest bands of all time in my book- power, melody, flamboyance, and passion. They are also the one band who did this song justice a song by another underrated great band overall The Left Banke. Dimino is my #1 70s hard rock/pomp vocalist.

Seeing Angel is on my bucket list. I had a ticket for them in 1979, but they had to cancel because Barry Brant was sick. Even though I didn't get to see them, I bought the shirt.

Great newer song. great video. A blast from the past. Kiss and angel are my two favorite bands. Bought both bands first album. And never stopped buying there cds. This song sounds like it could have came off their early albums. I miss that 70s sound.

Oh the irony of including Zappa in your video, -after the sheer nastyness of what he did to Angels Punky Meadows! :-( - You should think again and maybe edit those Zappa bits out.
@misterdeeds112 ай бұрын
@@petergumbrill1898 Hello, with all respect, and straight from the Man Himself, For the record, Punky has always said he found humor in Zappa and actually “got it”, and never took it personally. There’s nothing more to it than that. And yes, Punky has seen and approved the video, Cheers,😀👍

1978/Palladium NYC. Returned from Saigon in 75', wanted to forget the war. Saw the Godz, Judas Priest & Angel. Angel was incredible. The visuals, the sound, the show, I never seen girls loose their mind when Punky Meadows and Felix Robinson appeared from coffins onstage. Frank Dimino had the 'voice of Gabriel' it was a spiritual experience. God, I miss them.

firstsargeantcandiobelleya6546: That sounds like you may have enjoyed Angel, moreso than the other bands! To me, they were much better musicians than KISS, though rumors were Gene Simmons wanted Punky Meadows to join KISS? Anyway...glad that never happened! Lol 😂

Great video. Love this song; nostalgic without being too sappy or campy. Risen stands among Angel's best albums.

I love Angel. This song is ok, and this latest album is also ok, even though it sometimes drifts into "Spinal Tap"style self parody occasionally. And I like all the photos in this music video.

ONLY one who loved deeply, who cherished another and lost them could write such a poignant, moving song. THANK you, Cooper, for taking the pain and morphing it into such a beautiful, touching melody.
