Thank you so very much for sharing your story. I have 2 lesions that look like they are BCCs so your courage in sharing your experience has given me a level of comfort in understanding what I may need to go through should my initial biopsy results show BCC.

Hi Amanda and welcome! Rents here CAN be on a par with NYC in some cities, but most foods fresher and cheaper without US galloping Inflation. Other US Posters like you Love separate Bathroom and Toilet that MOST places have here, so one doesn't crap themselves waiting for another's Long Shower/bath to Finish! :) Its the Little Things! Welcome! :)

It’s ok to cry, it’s quite traumatic especially if you haven’t been subjected to surgeries etc. You’re brave just to put yourself out there for the sake of others. I had squamous cell stage two on top of my head. It was a lot to go through and yes I could feel the blood dripping down and my hair cascading to the floor, I was bald on top! Even at the last of it I could feel stitches tugging on my head. I take an enormous amount of freezing anywhere on my body. It’s a genetic thing I was told. The cuts were deep and the scar runs about 5 inches long. Thankfully my hair covers it, because it’s really lumpy up there. Now, I’m awaiting a biopsy on the side of nose just above my nostril, I’ve been trying to get my doctor to pay attention and it wasn’t until my husband was there did he take it serious. At the cancer clinic the guess is basal cell. I’m used to needles and hospital but it’s still stressful. It’s the unknown it’s been there growing for 3 years. I appreciate your story and your heart felt honesty. Thank you from BC. Canada.

Being free of charge. Sounds nice. But it comes with higher risks of wrong sorts of attention. More frankly, you might attract riffraff with malice(criminal intention in the first place).

Adventurous attempts always come Risks(big or small). It is the one golden principal in anything. And the couchsurfin is no exception. Certainly not recommended to:Family with little children, physically weakened old people. And a female sole traveller. Those ones can easily fall the victims of the potential predators...

I loved visiting Uluru Ayers Rock in the Australia’s Northern Territory in the central desert and see the beautiful sunsets of the Rock and every summer gets spectacular lightning storms to watch in the sky when it rains during summer months of the monsoon season and it is a typical desert and seeing the lightning lots up in the sky when it get very wet with heavy rain falling on the ground. I loved the Australian outback and and a lot of the Uluru- Kata Tjuṯa gets a lot of the good exercises and not to climb Uluru because it is banned by the aboriginal tribes of Australia.

Couch surfing wont work if the guests are people who are inconsiderate and selfish, and contribute nothing. Which host would be so stupid as to want to spend their own hard earned money so that guests can stay for free, and to provide for the guests free lodging +free food+free cleaning service+free cooking +free clothes washing+free washing of dishes+free maid service for guest+free tourist guide +free transport +inconveniences to hosts +loss of privacy for hosts +risk of host having all his/her money and valuables get stolen +risk of host getting falsely accused of sexual attacks+having the host's neat home turned into a dirty untidy mess+ host being paid ZERO after doing so much for the guests ???? Couch surfing also wont work if the hosts are sexual predators waiting for preys to arrive. For guests, the risk to them is having all their money +valuables get stolen by a bad host or getting raped by host .

The anxiety described here is of the burn out variety typified by too much activity and too much caffeine. It's not the more difficult variety of anxiety such as social anxiety and or the chronic types of anxiety experienced by people coming from adverse childhood backgrounds. As a person who has experienced the latter, I can safely say that lifestyle adjustments are needed but will never solve that kind of anxiety. I personally work out in the gym 5 hrs per week, and do 60 mins of meditation every day while also eating a plant based diet mainly; and yet, still experience much anxiety. The only thing that will help anyone like myself (if your reading this) is therapy

Melanoma, BCC removed from my back this year. Caught them early like you. Going back every three months for the next two years. 57,000 new melanoma cases in 2022. 5,700 died from it. 2,000 died from BCC but it’s way more common. Everyone get your skin checked.
