yes you are right , atta is added just to bind mawa so that it absorb extra moisture from mawa and help it to give shape also.

Jai Shree Jagannath 🙏Nice explanation and great recipe. However white vinegar should not be used as store bought vinegar 99.99% made from alcohol. Instead lemon juice should be used. Can fresh coconut be used and then roast it well?? Will that work .. does it affect the storage life of this masala??

you can dry it well under sunlight so that there is no moisture , then you can use that too. If moisture remains in coconut that will surely affect shelve life of masala.

U can place in refrigerator for 6 months or use in 2-3 months while placing it at cool place away from direct sunlight 😊

@Laxmi_Kumari_singh aap unhe garm chasni may soak rehne dijiye 1-2 hrs phir apne aap ras andar chala jayega, agar phir bhi apko lagta hai ras nhi gya to ho sakta hai ki fry karte samay apne thoda zada garam oil may fry kiya jisse upar ki shell zada tight ho gyi
