Sir a before attending interview they asked me to do lean six Sigma certification. By doubt is what if i fail the exam or get the certificate, but i don't join that organization, this certificate will be used? Because I dont find any jobs with respect to it in linkedin. Since this is costly we need an opportunities equally too

I have a question...while I understand the concept and intention of Lean Six Sigma...I am yet to understand *why* it is used for resolving issues considering its complexity. Six Sigma is used when the cause is unknown and the solution is complex. My queries are - 1. If cause is unknown, what issue does the solution address? 2. If finding out cause is part of Six Sigma methodology, that means cause becomes known. In such a scenario, does a Six Sigma project remain a Six Sigma project? 3. If certain situations warrant the use of Six Sigma methodology, is it adequate to just say we don't know why issue occurring so employing Six Sigma concepts? Why go for a complex methodology right at the outset? 4. What is meant by a problem? Any output that is faulty or defective or deviating from the standard is a problem. When this problem occurs initially, why not be proactive and address the issue at the earliest? Finding the cause will also be easy at this stage. Otherwise, letting a problem simmer, taking no action, and then the problem becomes so big that finding out cause itself is difficult...why employ such a passive approach to problem solving? 5. Before Motorola, people had no idea about Six Sigma so having a passive approach to problem solving was understandable. But in today's world, when a passive approach can result in severe financial losses, is it truly advisable to have such an approach? Why not address issues as they occur rather than taking no action and then the problem becomes so big and complex that finding cause itself is difficult? In other words, for a Six Sigma project, should we let problems remain as they are so the situation becomes complex enough to warrant a Six Sigma approach? Problems don't become complex on their own...

Hi sir, if you can inform i have 11 years of experience in o2c domain and left job due to family emergency can i start learning six sigma and will it suitable for my domain and from last years i was supporting in order entry team as team lead, can you please advise me
@digitalpagesglobal8 ай бұрын
Hi Renuka, Your experience is valuable, I started my career in O2C domain as well. Six sigma of-course gives a foundation, it teaches you how to solve a problem, changes your perspective, and improve presentation skills. However keep in mind, we need to continuously up-skill. AI and automation is currently trending, try and learn more around that.
