I'm glad you did this video, but I think I'm still gonna pass on trying to fly this POS tbh. Was hoping it was like flying a helicopter in Far cry or that Tom Clancys badlands game. A runway needed for a copter? I'm still loving the motorcycle even over the 4x4 but that's prolly cos I haven't got the armor or plow mods yet. This tho, was a real disappointment.

Once you told me about the settings and how to tip it up and down that saved my faith in it hahaha with some patience it really isn’t that bad I was so happy when I got it cause I found the parts before I could technically build it and then was immediately thrown off after I crashed into everything lol

What I wish is that the 'E' key would be disabled when you're more than a few feet off the ground. I fly the gyrocopter ok, though in sort of a wibbly-wobbly way. But sooner or later my fat fingers accidentally hit that 'E' button and I'm falling through the air waiting for the abrupt stop at the end ;) I bet there's a mod for that, next time I play I'll have to check. And yeah, I know I could remap the key. but I like 'E' as so many games use that for the use/action command. It's just with the gyro that I don't like it.

We were struggeling to do it on HM, and the group is otherwise doing good. Our problem is just the no-heal debuff happens to everyone, even people who are not chained. Is there something I am completely missing here? On why no one can be healed even though they are not chained?

This last fight is so horrible on sustain if you are a tank. I'm considering using wretched vitality and torc to do this hardmode.

Dude thank you I took mine for a test ride and I have all the mods available for a copter it was cool for 2mins before i realized very quickly I don’t know how to fly this hoe like at all 😭😭 , how I even got up and was flying around that 1st 2mins was crazyy cause I had no clue about the pitching buttons

The real question: Is it pronounced Gyro, or Euro copter?

I recommend going into creative mode and spawning one in and getting some flight time in before flying this thing in survival at least try to get to the point where you can land almost on any road without taking damage that's when you know you'll be good just to put things into perspective I'm currently at that level where I'm able to vertically land which is definitely possible

Haha yeah I had a struggle but I worked it out, I’m on console and for me I changed my button layout helped me a lot …A to pitch up and B to pitch down, it was more fluent for me A-B (usually in games A-B combo is jumps+ Rolls/brakes/handbrakes) ..then A-X also you forgot to mention on console (not sure PC) RB is a turbo (all vehicles), I use the RB to take off with holding A (pitch up) then TAPPING B (pitch down) to level the gyro using the RB to fly forward straight/level fast and release off the RB (turbo) to glide land…RB uses more fuel-FYI New players ..also holding and Tapping the pitch buttons are important never just hold them flying ,tap them to raise up -level-go down once in the air and level don’t touch just steer until landing or dodging a tree 😂 ..I only ever hold A (pitch up) to take off/go higher or once I’m on the ground to brake and come to a stand still , holding flying will either send you into a nose dive or do loop the loop …another thing that drives me crazy I prefer left stick to steer-right for camera but I’m heavy handed on my controller sticks and by clicking the LEFT stick, It changes steering to the right stick and I lose steering think wtf before I realise ,every time too ffs …incase some people are having the same issue.

the way i flew before watching this video: didnt know how to change the nose so i just kept going shift W till i hit something, then the gyro would flip and start flying with nose at 45 degrees. in order to get down just stop holding W over the place u want to land.... yeah video version is better ngl
