12 seconds he claims it Traumatized a generation, bad comedy at start. nah man, Billy and Mandy was timeless classic of its a what could happen and CAN happen at same time, the writing was good, characters were good and not flanderized, episodes didn't need to connect to previous episodes but they can remember post episodes and it didn't overstay its welcome like Family Guy and Spongebob.

18:38 how did I know there would be spiders involved with Buttercups fears? and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Bubbles grew up to have a phobia of dolls after her nightmare fear thing.

The allusion to sexual abuse is pretty strong: red lights, Bunny's getup getting out of the car dressed up in pearls and furs with a dead eyed look on her face, how mad dog "took her from a two bit join to a classy act," (she's not holding any instruments, or wearing tap shoes), and most telling of all the cutaway when she gets caught in her escape attempt. She says, "let go of me, Animals you animals!" Also (as mentioned below) she's been soiled in the next scene and "deflowered" in a pot. In any case, this is a really well written episode and deserves the full runtime it received. Thanks for putting a spotlight on this very special episode.

The moments when H.I.M. becomes enraged at the girls or excited over his schemes working creep me out the most. It’s actually eerie shit.

From the way it looks, The writers and screenwriters on this show had mad talent for creating deep plots, side characters with backstories, and this balance between dystopian horror/comedy/adventure/that is over the top but leveled and intricate enough to make sense in the context of the show....

Whereas this show traumatized children, it influenced my style of humour.

Shaving people against their will is a very specific crime, but still a crime. It's emotional torture.

it's probably not the creepiest, but there is one when the kanker sister are on "holiday" and forcibly enter ed edd n eddy's houses & do lots of bad stuff & cause destruction. & "run for your ed" when you realize no one can defeat the kanker sister in the cul-de-sac....

I think it’s a matter of we notice how truly creepy it is when we get older, like I’ve been watching the series again recently and because you notice meanings and the consequences of things that happen in the show more as an adult it makes the show creepier. But either way I’m glad that this show was around when I was a kid. Think it might be my favourite show ever. Whilst I was a kid it was more laughing at the craziness of the show, the slapstick, the idiocy of billy and occasionally getting creeped/grossed out by some of the visuals

I was not "scared" by Billy&Mandy at all, in truth it helped develop my pretty fucked up sense of humor and things like Billy yelling "Destroy us all!" at the top of his and I quote "Clowns are afraid of tangelos" and "Pinocchiokiokio" and "Yeah yeah yeah" all the time

Fred always struck me as a p3do because the way he talks about cutting hair seems to me like an analogy for violation or forcing people to do what he wants because he is so compelled. He cant control himself, and even if he isnt hurting anyone in the episode, he takes Courage's consent away. Anyone he cuts the hair of didnt want it. He also has a pic of the little girl in his wallet so do with that what you will. The way he narrated the episode felt like a perverted version of a Dr Seuss book

Ed Edd n Eddy is still one of my favorite Cartoon Network shows but looking back at it, it’s definitely a lot more disturbing with the Kankers endlessly thirsting after the Eds and some of the other boys in the neighborhood. Also in Urban Ed, it’s honestly hard to watch Ed being tortured considering that he’s the most innocent of the bunch.

While the Kankers always creeped me out as a kid, this episode almost makes me feel bad for May. She's clearly the family scapegoat and bullying target, and seems to genuinely want to be loved and accepted, she just doesn't have anything close to a healthy way of seeking it out.

Its as if no one remembers the Laff-a-lympics. Also, crossovers were already a big thing in the 70's. Scooby Doo, being the forerunner in it. This is the complete history of poorly researched content. smh
