This creeps me out. The creepy horn, the fog and all the suicides that took place on the bridge.

That looks so neat. Beautiful beaches are not quite as beautiful as some people think. A high tide come in, all people will get really wet.

@chasd.2041 Жыл бұрын
I think there are two sets, one set midspan and the other on the San Francisco-side pier, but I'm pretty sure that what we are hearing here are the mid-span horns, with the East- and West-facing horns having different tones.

Sean makes his way to and through the toll gate (25¢) and onto the bridge. Cotrell follows. Directly below them, under the bridge, foghorns blast thunderous mournful moans, like a great lamenting troll, startling Sean, and his passengers, and they laugh.

Lovely. Would be better without the background chatter but I know you can't make others go away or be quiet.
@chasd.20412 жыл бұрын
The background chatter is annoying, but I have come to appreciate the way it provides context. I particularly like it when you can hear someone vocalize "blaaaaargggh!" clearly imitating the foghorn and a bit drunk.

Big bag.. great for traveling but not your everyday .. I went with the hitchback from coach
@chasd.20413 жыл бұрын
Also a great bag. I use this as my daily carry, but I'm fairly tall so a big bag works better. My only real complaint now that I've used it for a while is that I wish it had a bit more structure -- if it isn't full it tends to fold over on itself when you set it down. What I like is that it expands quite a lot if you need it, but also works okay for a light load.

for the life citizen, the small side access compartment at the front, can it fit a long wallet? eg 8" by 4"?
@chasd.20413 жыл бұрын
Easily. The zippered compartment is well over 8" deep, and the unzippered compartment behind it deeper than that. Width won't be a problem at all. Both are pretty "flat" compartments, though, so they would be best with a wallet that wasn't too thick (I'd guess up to an inch would be fine, but at two inches it would start getting awkward, although I think it would still fit in the unzippered compartment.

Dude yes!! And I believe its only heard on PC but it might also be on Xbox and all the years playing on PS2 I've never heard it.. there are other sounds that were exclusive to PC and possibly xbox as well like while going for the boating license you can hear very pronounced seagulls. Oddly enough though I have yet to hear anything in Watch Dogs 2

I'm looking to buy this one, but I'm not sure of how the colour looks as it's different from the images. What are your thoughts so far?
@chasd.20414 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the slow response. I suppose you have made your choice by now. I like this backpack quite a bit, although like everything else, it has its shortcomings. It is very well built, the fabric is soft and pliable yet the bag as a whole has pretty good structure. It can hold a LOT if you want to pack it in, but it rolls up to be fairly compact. Shortcomings are side pockets that are too small to hold anything other than the smallest water bottle, and although the Fidlock (magnetic) buckles are fantastic, the tightening mechanism they are connected to is not great. I'll post a new video with my thoughts before long.

I own this pack in Navy Blue, thanks for making an unboxing on this! Found it on eBay at a reduced price back in March. Much more organization than the Tumi London Rolltop and love the secret magnetic slip pocket by the handle as well as the Fidlock buckles. It's the most comfortable Alpha Bravo backpack since it contours so well to the traps and shoulders. Definetly feels like Tumi is trying to modernize with the other Kickstarter or trendy bag brands like Black Ember or Peak Design, very unlike them to use Fidlock buckles heh. I actually bought the same Fidlock V-Buckle and a universal sternum strap kit to make a chest strap for the bag, much more comfortable now.
@chasd.20413 жыл бұрын
I agree, the magnetic slip pocket is a really nice feature. The Fidlock buckles are cool, but Tumi hasn't quite figured out how to make good use of them -- the straps slip. I haven't bought the sternum strap kit, but should do so; the straps do tend to slide off my shoulders. That said, I'm really happy with it; it is my daily use backpack, and works well with either a small or a large load. It looks great, and I think it will last through a lot of use.

I lived in California for years and never even knew the fog horn was a thing. How long has it been there?
@chasd.20414 жыл бұрын
It has been there since the bridge was built, but you don't hear it everywhere. I haven't lived in San Francisco for years, but I still remember hearing it on quiet nights. It makes me homesick.
