Free food I’d have to say Guy’s Burgers or Big Chicken. I ate at both places multiple times. Not a bad thing on the menu really. We did two pay options ( Bonsai Teppanyaki & Emeril’s) and both were very worth the price I felt. They have a few other pay options like the steakhouse restaurant and seafood restaurant but we did not go to either.

Not very far at all. Depending on how fast you walk I’d say 15 minutes give or take a few minutes for speed, stoplights and pedestrian foot traffic.

No sadly you can’t. You would have to walk closer to Times Squre to experience that amazing event!

It really depends how into the madness you want to get. If you want to be in Times Square with no opportunity to leave so bring snacks or you can stand further down Broadway (towards Central Park) and get a far distance view of the ball. It will still be crowded but not as crowded and it will be easier to get out at 12:01am when the crowds start to dispense. The other option if you’re not looking for this year is rooftop dining/bars. You need to reserve well in advance and I believe they cost top dollar on NYE.

I’m also a lover of sports but this sports bar was not impressive. Glad I didn’t sail during a big sporting event. I’m going on the Carnival Celebration tomorrow and hope I can catch the NFL playoffs in a nice spot!!

I can’t answer this question. Every cruise line brings in thousands of cruisers every cruise and the crowds are very diverse. That’s one of the things I love about cruising! If you wanted to socialize there are so many different types of people to talk to.

I knew of the chicken wing and toilet paper shortage but wasn’t aware of a bacon shortage. Don’t know why either that bacon was nasty!

My goal is to get on as many cruise lines as possible. Carnival makes my 3rd. I’m hoping 2023 will bring 2 new cruise lines for me.

I have done this for Disney as I’ve been on 4 out of the 5 ships. But if Carnival becomes a regular cruise line for me I will get something to represent every ship.

I agree 1,000%. I have left extra gratuity on every single cruise I’ve been on. These crew members work their butts off 7 days a week!

Every one has there own opinions. In my final review of this experience you’ll actually hear how I barely saw kids while on this 4 night cruise. As far as Royal goes I sailed with them 9 years ago and did not enjoy it. But a lot has changed in the cruising industry as well as myself as a person. I hope to get on the Wonder of the Seas ASAP but it will more likely be a 3 or 4 night on the Independence of the Seas

@@AmazingScrapbookTravel We love the Oasis class. We like the neighborhoods they have. Yes things have changed greatly over the last several years. My husband likes going onto the islands the best while I like doing the things the ship offers, which is another reason I like the Oasis class. So we get off and enjoy the islands and while on the ship he relaxes while I zip line or do the wave runner or slides, I may be in a 65 year old body but my mind keeps it going and enjoying all the activities I can. Hope you enjoy Royal much more the next time you cruise them. The only Carnival ship I would consider would be the Mardi Gras because of all the things to do, like the coaster and ropes and slides, but even then I would have to think about it a bit since my previous Carnival experience was so poor. Have a great next cruise.

Dana just enjoy life. I been on all cruise line and enjoy every last one of them. If you’re don’t like kids don’t go on Disney Cruise.😂🤣

@@carolyngardner4999 I have sailed several of the cruise lines but not Disney, for the price to us it simply is not worth it. I have nothing against children the parents make behave and don’t just let them run wild. That’s the good thing about cruising there are all kinds for all kinds of people, so to each their own!
