Usually when I start a run, I bolt straight to the church of dragon communion in Caelid, then I just farm banished knights for parry practice, the armor set, and the greatsword. also, because I'm farming the caelid knights instead of the godrick castle knights, I get far more runes

Magma blade is the worst one because I've been farming for it for hours with 170 item discovery and all I got was shields. I still haven't gotten it and I've been grinding for days now. It's easier to just get the Scavenger's curved sword, go to NG+, get a second one, and put flame art on both

Celebrant's Cleaver - Farming for this is usually not worth the effort Rosus' Axe - Looks cool and does decent damage, but has a rather underwhelming weapon art. Waped Axe - The high damage with a heavy/fire infusion more than makes up for it's wonky ascetic! Sacrificial Axe - A good sidearm for mages and "gish" builds. Battle Axe - Not a bad weapon, but sorely outclassed in it's category, Stormhawk Axe - Do I even need to explain why this well crafted axe is so amazing? Forked Hatchet - The speed, innate bleed build up and pierce damage is nice, but it's lack of reach and raw damage is a bit off-putting. Iron Cleaver - Probably the best axe for Strength Builds and has a devastating heavy attack! Hand Axe - A good starting weapon and a decent sidearm. Highland Axe - a great sidearm for making the most out of Roars! Ripple Blade - The best axe for pure Arcane Builds! Jawbone Axe - Aside from Strike Damage, this weapon has little to offer. Icerind Axe - Useful at first but become redundant by mid game.
