The wasp is my favorite helo in the sim so far. It has superb control on the landing. It's a joy to fly. The scout is great too, I just love the suspension on the wasp.

Looks nice and manageable. How does it feel? I'll probably pick this up soon. This is one of my favorite helicopters. I unfortunately can't fly the DCS version because that sim makes me nauseous.

It is pretty manageable if you regularly use helis in MSFS. It is very slightly unstable in the hover, and you don't get a tremendous sense of speed in it but it's not meant to be fast anyway. It's a small bit challenging to fly, but entertaining. Thanks for watching.

A Huey from Taog's Hangar? This is news to me. I know that Blackbird have one in the works, but any helicopter from Taog's Hangar deserves attention. Anything more to share? Also, the anti-torque pedals looked like they were moving at superhuman speed. What's that about?

Yes, it's freeware from them, however, I tried to look for the link and they have actually removed it from flightsim.to. As to the torque pedals, that's due to my malfunctioning Thrustmaster TCA Airbus joystick which I've fixed several times but it's never a complete fix sadly. I'll be purchasing a different one soon.

The Huey never worked for me and I had the path in AirlandFs correct etc etc. very disappointing. Maybe a good one will come to the marketplace through a third party.

Advice for VR fliers: turn on the DIY attitude indicator (the handmade markings on the windshield). The airframe is so open, there is no visual reference for your attitude. The lack of the variometer strips the last chance from you to detect a climb or a descent. One with a VR headset will level her/his head with the horizon by instinct, and would have no clue without the markings what the attitude of airframe actually is.

I strongly recommend you to map the throttle to an axis on your joystick, and set the governor to be manual in the settings page of the tablet. This bird does not feature a governor in real life. Your flights will be then much more challenging.

No, they absolutely don't, but as I've seen many helicopter pilots takeoff and land from them so I do in some cases.

I actually have not changed any settings to show these. I believe there's a couple of switches that toggle this effect on in the Longranger in the lower front panel. Thanks for watching!
