Well you killed two birds with one stone clean the drain and fixed the waste and overflow

No,i have a seperate microwave on counter.
@PropertyMaintenanceServiceАй бұрын
Okay. That wouldn’t have the filter. This is for a microwave mounted above the oven to suck up the smoke from cooking.

I can't find a filter on mine.Where should it be?
@AmyDecker89Ай бұрын
This is the stove filter. It's under the hood.

Is your microwave mounted above your oven?
@80908Ай бұрын
Just put it up in the dishwasher
@PropertyMaintenanceServiceАй бұрын
That works sometimes as well. But this is faster.

Nice job. Looking to do the same thing this summer. I never thought of using the PVC route. Thanks for the video. I'm going to use it. (PVC)

Thanks! Definitely a good option for places with water / moisture since it won’t rot.
@floorrez308Ай бұрын
What type of wood was that you used
@PropertyMaintenanceServiceАй бұрын
PVC trim and moulding. It looks like wood but plastic so it won’t rot.
@saljablo27672 ай бұрын
You have a miter saw yet still free hand the straight cuts on the trim. I guess the $300 circ saw had to get its moneys worth.
@PropertyMaintenanceServiceАй бұрын
Just quicker for simple straight cuts. Not sure if you were taking a jab at me for having a nice tool or what, but it gets used a lot in my business.
@saljablo27672 ай бұрын
Attention all DIYers about to attempt this. It will not go this smoothly. You will run into many hurdles and will take many trips to Home Depot. Beware.

Not too much for materials on this. Trim board, moulding, door seals, trim nails, caulk and paint.

I don’t think so. I believe it was an old Whirlpool one if I remember right. Basically the exact same as the Insinkerator ones.

Ha, thanks. I still had an electrician come in after to check out a few other issues at this place and it sounds like he spent 3 or 4 hours there fixing other weird / wrong wiring that was done. We are really curious if it was the past landlord or a tenant doing these things.

There is a separate bin for cardboard, but it’s supposed to be clean. That Duncan box was caked with frosting on the inside. The other box and can probably could have but I just wanted to get the line cleared without making a mess. All of the trash goes to an incinerator that generates steam for the city if I remember right.
@Josh-os4qk2 ай бұрын
@@PropertyMaintenanceService ah only for cardboard not got glass bottles cans or plastic bottles?
@PropertyMaintenanceService2 ай бұрын
Glass, cans, etc. goes into a separate bin. It’s up to the tenants to sort it. Whoever stuffed everything in didn’t.

why cut the bottom of the vanity out to fit the trap tho...😢😂❤
@PropertyMaintenanceService2 ай бұрын
I would have preferred to move the drain, but it wasn’t my call unfortunately. They just wanted the leak fixed. Whoever installed the vanity originally already cut out the back to allow the drain access. To move the drain they would have needed to pull the vanity out to move the drain and repair the drywall. So making a little cut was about $150 cheaper. It’s a rental that has a few weird issues.
