I am so grateful for having the blessing of getting to meet and talk to you at the Birchmere in Virginia after your first show with Fourplay! I love your smile and reaction to my telling you the story of my wife and I driving somewhere and hearing the new release of Fourplay and as the song starts, I look at my wife and say "that's Chuck Loeb on guitar!". And you know what, it was! How I miss hearing you play, whether standards or smooth jazz. You were always such an inspiration to me, even as a bassist. Even now, when I want to be inspired by a true master, I click on one of your songs, close my eyes and smile. RIP Chuck. You will always be missed.

Just found out he passed back in 2017. Married life and kids stopped me from keeping up with jazz as a whole for 15 years. Big fan and watched him in concert in Boston at scullers jazz club. Signed 2 of his albums I had bought. Rest easy Chuck 🙏 a true gem 💎 🫶🏾👊🏾🎼🎶🎺

Heart warming. Had the honour off performing with Chuck in the mid 90's. I was drumming with Nelson Rangel with Mel Brown on bass. It was a highlight of my life. I hope to play with him again in heaven. I remember he pulled me off stage and had me play brushes on a newspaper at a table for some folks at the club. We connected musically him and I. He was smiling at me while we did this jazz standard, him on guitar and me on a news paper with brushes. Tearing up thinking about it. Thanks Chuck. Nelson told me he was happy with me backing him up. Positive feelings from Chuck makes me happy even after all this time. God bless Cuck and his family. Peace to all. William Tell Pinner III

I was fortunate enough to have seen Chuck Loeb perform with Fourplay at the Blue note. It was magical, as was his work individually. I also was at the club when his tribute show was given. His family was introduced and i truly felt connected with them through my love of his work. Chuck Loeb's works are played often on my devices. Mr Chuck Loeb has an indelible place in my psyche that cannot be replaced or removed. Blessings to all...JB

I have been quite familiar with musical artists like Chuch Loeb for a long time. As I approach my 65 birthday, I have become even more familiar with musical artists like Chuck Loeb. The sad part is that I did not follow these musicians more closely before their passing as I do now. This is true with guitarists like Jeff Beck, who I started following in the 80's. There are many other musicians who have passed who have left an incredible legacy. I only hope there are other people out there that enjoy their music as I continue to do. This video is an incredible tribute to Chuck and his family. Thank you for the music Chuck!

Enormously talented family. Chuck seemed so 'at home' holding a guitar. I love the ease with which he manipulated that musical instrument to do exactly what he wanted. The World lost so much talent in his passing. It is difficult to imagine Carmen is from Spain while singing this song. You'd think she was from somewhere in Brazil. It is that natural. She is extremely gifted.

Chuck your music brought me into a world of tranquility and the meaning of love for humanity and God. When I listen to your guitar I'm at peace with myself and the world even with the everyday turmoil and chaos that plagues mankind. Thank you for these special moments that I cherish the most.
