At age 64 this song takes me right back to where I grew up. This was the first B.B.Smoke song I ever heard; I've been a fan ever since then. That was eight years ago. Thank you for your music and RIP Britt. You are missed.

I always thought that was so cool, and it definitely is a church thing, especially down south. I remember when Charlie was introducing the band, we have brother Brit Turner on the drums, brother Richard Turner on the bass, brother Paul Jackson, etc. It was so moving, what a wonderful experience that was. RIP brother Brit.

Just saw them in St. Augustine when Charlie played Gary Rossington’s guitar. They played Freebird, and Tuesday’s gone. It was stellar. By the way, there’s a video here of that happening.

Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love.
