In a fit such as H7/h6, what would happen if the hole comes in MMC (smallest) and the Shaft/Pin comes in at MMC (biggest) as well. Is there an unspoken rule in the workshop such as a Shaft/Pin should never be made at MMC. Always remove another...0.002 - 0.003? And what are the possibilities that a Hole will come in at MMC (at lower limit).

when I can control straightness/flatness by angularity, perpendicularity and parallelism then why will I use form tolerance unnecessary? will not it cost more and will not control perfectly all the aspec?
@shrikrishi
@shrikrishi 4 жыл бұрын
Straightness and flatness are independent features so whatever torrence given within that you will get, and what you suggested in that case it is dependent so won't be that much precise than individual feature control. Hence you will use individual feature control only if that much precession is necessary so then cost will be obligation for your requirement.

@@shrikrishi how can you say won't be much presice when angularity, perpendicularity and parallelism control both flatness/straightness + orientation then tell me which one is more precise.....form tolerance or orientation tolerance?and tell me the logic too...only telling something doesn't state anything right.
