Despite rising bond yields and falling stock prices, the markets remain uncertain about whether the Federal Reserve will maintain its objective of raising interest rates until inflation is subdued. As I contemplate whether to sell my $401k in equities, what's the most effective strategy for capitalizing on the current downturn in the market?

I advise you to seek professional advice because building a strong financial portfolio is more challenging. Your long-term objectives and budgetary preferences can be catered to in the ideas you get after that.

The best market strategy at the moment is working with a respected investment coach. I've been in touch with a coach for a time now, mostly because I lack the depth of understanding and mental toughness to deal with these ongoing market conditions. During this recession, I made about $700k, proving that the market is more complicated than most people think.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a market analyst for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again

The stock market is a complex system that is influenced by a variety of factors, including economic indicators, political events, and global trends. The relationship between policies and the stock market can be complex and multifaceted, and it can take time for the full effects of policies to be reflected in market trends. Therefore, it is possible that policies implemented in the past may have a "lagged effect" on the stock market, as their full impact may not be felt until later on

I've purchased numerous stocks in individual firms. Because there are so many stocks that will skyrocket in the long run, it is currently safe to buy in on ETF and ride it out. Due to fud, I sold out early, but then retraced my ways and re-invested $350,000 with a financial advisor who manages my account. I received an 82% return last year and will see where it goes this year.

that's quite impressive, you surely made a good bit of money. I myself invested in warren's BRK-A stock quite pricey but totally worth it.

I got confused too but it makes sense actually - market cap is basically the „current value of equity“ in the company. But the company doesnt not only generate returns on equity but also on debt. So if you add market cap and debt you kind of know the total investment into the company that generates returns. And the cash itself does not generate any return as its not invested. So if you use this to pay off some part of the debt, then you are left with the capital that is actually employed to generate returns. Yes surely debt costs you money so you have to generate a higher return than the interest rate, but if this wasnt the case your market cap would be very low so enterprise value would be low as well. So in the end its actually saying „how much money was put in this business and is actively used to generate returns“.

One related topic is if you have your money invested, choosing between payment options is not straightforward. An example with an anual interest of 12%, a payment option of $1000 and another of 10x$102, going with the latter saves about $30. This is because the money will grow between each installment. I've developed an app called Tadreda to help me choose the best option in those cenarios. There is also a spotlight video in my channel showing an example case. Hope it might help more people.

This is a good video, but I wish you would make the illustrations that more like my students who are mostly female and African American. When various people see themselves in commercials, videos and illustrations, they will connect with the product and there is a better chance for them to buy into whatever people are teaching.
