Really mellow, harmonious, and peaceful. Adore how the bass comes in like a man. Its an interesting song, and the unusual bass and synth of DEADSY has been missed and is always welcome at my home. Shout out to Alec and His and hope they are ALL WELL !! <3 Happy and Strong

Hello! Do you remember CommonManDown promotion ARG about a red faced woman image that was a virus on someone's computer? Funny thing is I am an investigator, a decade later and I found your 2009 website documenting it and the sound files. The image became popular from a MARIO website and the origin of it was lost. But Jordan Davis created the image himself, although no one knows what the original is. The files are now lost too, just thought this would be cool to remind

I am looking for band making Such music like for example Archetype album. I admit, I am huge Burton's fan. His City of fire project was even better than most of FF (heavier part) songs for me. The melo conbected to heavy was so perfect... I think closest i've found is Disturbed, but I know their music as good as FF. So big empty space within me since last few years... (last two FF albums was bad in my opinion). Anybody could sugest any similar vibe?

From what I've heard and understand, its likely both. After Digimortal, Burton wanted Fear Factory to break up, that's how this whole shit started. You can also see some of the signs there with the disagreements in this video. Christian wanted more hip hop in the band, and Dino was not cool with that because he's a metal head and wants Fear Factory to remain a metal band. Ultimately Dino got thrown under the bus and backstabbed because he wanted Fear Factory's core to remain unchanged. So Burton and the rest of the band got rid of Dino or Dino quit at one point, I can't remember which. Burton later regretted this and wanted Dino back, but Christian, Raymond and Raymond's wife which they owned the trademark at the time were against it, and they were going to change Fear Factory's core for the worst. So Burton went around them, and made a new Fear Factory (ie Mechanize, The Industrialist etc) with bringing Dino back, and of course this is after those guys all quit after that, but still owned the IP, apparently Burton said he'd pay to license the band's name, and he never did that, hence the 2019 lawsuit. I'm not sure how true most of it is, but it adds up. I saw this from a documentary about the band in Spanish, the full story, watched it with subtitles on, that's where I got this information from.

Burton: Before I go off on all the comments and everything, I'd like to make an official statement first. First of all, I just want to cut through a lot of the confusion about one issue since it really will be part of every answer. I have not made a public statement about it; I'm not one to air dirty laundry, but I have been forced to correct certain misstatements by Raymond and Christian. The fact that I have not worked with Raymond and Christian for the past three years as FEAR FACTORY is for this one reason - it's that I did not want to be involved with their manager. Her name is Christy Priske and she happens to be Christian's wife. During the "Transgression" mixing session, her and Raymond started a love affair that lasted for a couple years. As [she was the] manager of FEAR FACTORY, this was completely unacceptable to me.
