Darn, I guess the bandana I bought yesterday is too small to pull this off. Gonna have to buy a second one and stitch them together for it :P

I have an old (12 years) pair of La Sportive Trango Alps with the d-ring locking system. Just impossible to get the forefoot lace tension right with the laces necessarily fed through the locking ring whilst you're trying to do that. A cinch might not absolutely clench the laces in place but works well enough and the presence alone of a d-ring lock would make me skip past any boot so equipped.

Have you had any issues with point of impact shift with a hot carbon barrel?

Any ideas on the barrel life for these guys ? Wanting one to build a periscope rig that I could potentially take hunting if I need to.

Do you have the updated review available yet? Do these things have onboard sensors and GPS? If not, where are they getting atmospherics from for shooting solutions such as temp, density altitude, etc? Does this thing capture weather data from somewhere? What data shows up in the display? Just range or is it more like the Sig Kilo that shows temp, compass heading, range, MOA, altitude, etc? Thanks!

Who doen't like the glare of the NL Pure the Swarovski isn't for them. I'd prefer the Leica Noctivid 8x42 that is cheaper (at least in Switzerland) and sharper in the center. Sure its FOV is narrower and the edge isn't as sharp but you don't have to pay extra for a rather cheap piece for stabilizing your binos on your forefront! 😛Optica Excotica has shown how 3D and golden colored the Noctivid shines (more impressive than the glare you see on the NL Pure!) 😍 My second pick would be the Zeiss Victory HT 8x54! Even for non-hunters this is excellent for birding (as a German birder recommended). 😇 As much as I like Leica as an optical company with great products Zeiss Victory RF 8x54 is probably the better rangefinder pair of binoculars. Even for left handers you can switch the controls very simply while the Leica Geovid is fixed on the right hand side! 🤔
