Please put a patent on this, i hauled my first compressor up a retail store this month, my back does not thank me 😂

Quick question, underneath my cap on the ceiling I only have the white and green wire. Am I missing pieces? I have the dome on my roof already.
@anond201510 ай бұрын
Why not team up with a welder and share half the profits with him? You can still sell the patent when a buyer comes up. This is very similar to the design I drew up this afternoon. Awesome to see it's viable.

What happens if the roof is flat and terminates into a gutter with no parapet to clamp to? Also, I’m concerned clamping to cap flashing would damage or distort the metal. Seems like a solution only in certain situations.

I have a 2016 model that did the same thing. The trailer in this video is a newer model. I can’t believe Keystone is still using this horseshit design! I took our trailer to the dealer for repair. They wound up installing three 5” strips of metal, which run where the rollers track along the bottom of the slide out. That worked for a while until the temperatures went from hot to cold with the change of seasons. (I live in Colorado). The plastic started to crack between the metal strips that were installed. What a f-ing mess. I wound up taking a saw and cutting out the plastic between the metal strips, leaving just the plywood exposed. I don’t think I’m going to do anything else with it since the underneath isn’t exposed to any moisture. Best of luck!

One more thought. I would highly recommend not drinking RV water.
@jamesscott1932 Жыл бұрын
@@MatthewGross so true! In years and years of RV camping, there have been times when I filled a white bucket with water from the camp source and found black mold coming out of the spigot. Sometimes the camping spots might not be used for a long time and the water is not flushed through the lines coming around and throughout the campground. You cannot be assured that using a filter between the spigot and your coach will catch everything. double check your own gear and replace your filters frequently. Always connect the two ends of your hoses together when you are not using them so that insects cannot crawl into the hose. It is relatively cheap to purchase bottled water and if the use is long enough, it is relatively cheap to use a filtering system like a Berkey.

Have a 2021 Thor Compass 23TE and the pump was banging; I put a very short piece of pool noodle on pump discharge line and system was improved. I intend to apply your suggestion and also have read a report where someone placed pool noodle material under pump and will possibly go for that..
@MatthewGross2 жыл бұрын
I'm glad to hear you fixed your noisy pump as well. Removing the noise from the water pump will be different for every application. In fact when I had my water pump in my hand with the original set up it still made the banging noise due to the rigid piping connected directly to the pump. Take care and enjoy the camping life.
@raymondclark1785Ай бұрын
My wife has alz and every time the pump cycled she would ask: What's that? The pump in our Thor, probably the same mfg blew it's diaphragm 2 weeks ago. I had seen another KZbin that recommended a better pump on Amazon. I mounted it on a sheet of packing material like your pool noodle and now you can't hear it 😂

Just a thought... If you add little outrigger tubes to the side, say with pins so it breaks down for weight and more compact, it'll be safer when the boom is parallel to/over the wall. You wont be relying on the frame to pinch the wall so much.
