Such a beautiful and emotional portrayal. hades is such a high-energy game and zagreus’s mixture of confidence toward eventual victory and nonchalance toward inevitable failure make it really enjoyable and easy to try again instead of giving up. At the same time, it’s really interesting to think of it from this sort of angle, a version of zagreus that is fighting tooth and nail, desperate for escape, body bruised and bloody because he’s fought to the death over and over just to taste fresh air and see his mother’s face. this song is so perfect for that idea-the rugged sort of determination that will see you through even a rock-bottom situation. And the visuals you picked emphasized it so well. I love the shot of him finally walking away from the hades fight, out of the shadow of endless night and into the light of dawn, staggering and bloody but FREE! ugh your color palettes and dynamic poses and framing and expressions and overall drawing style…I’m on my knees about it 🛐 thank you for sharing this!!

Good GRIEF the talent and skill you are displaying here !!! this is perfect. the bold, cohesive color palettes and emphasize on movement and shape over detail works so so well. also the transitions are jaw dropping. Closeup of dark, dripping bloody hand to the light of Athena’s offered boon…zag’s fist clenching it while the camera pans up his arm and then swirls around while he’s surrounded by the shield!! The closeup of his eye moving and then the seamless fluidity of his dash transitioning to his attack again following the extension of his arm down to his sword. Omfg chef’s kiss. I’m definitely gonna watch this 1000 more times. I’m in love with this art and animation style and admire you so deeply for creating this!! I remember when this came out I was literally dancing so hard I was extremely happy I would play this video back to back I love their romance so much. AND THE WORLD BUILDING IS BEAUTIFUL. So many different cultures and traditions with different personalities and looks, you’re very great at your craft I hope you’re fulfilled in everything you do you’re awesome.

Gosh, this whole journey is so emotional, but I ALWAYS tear up when Sanga hesitates to get off the boat like she doesn't belong or deserve to follow them, and Davi and Ameqa push her off towards them and she bolts without more thought. These are so well produced, you did such a wonderful job with these stories, I really hope part 5 will come out soon.

I love all of the animatics. But I REALLY love the style of this one. Every character just looks amazing. Kravitz and Merle actually blew me away. And the silhouette of Johann fiddling was perfect. Bravo to the creator!
