Can you infuse the honey AFTER it’s been whipped or you have to infuse it before you whip it?

Nice to see the nails in your frames are actually holding the weight stress points on the frames. Good wire tips. Do you use a crimping tool before adding foundation?

I’ve seen large and small natural ones- what is the difference between a Queen that comes from a large vs smaller? Adult size? Do bigger lay more/better?
@ME_MeAndMyBees3 ай бұрын
Yes : bigger Queens, from bigger & a tad Longer Q. Cell, lay better Eggs. No Runties ! (Also, super long ones, means the Egg, 'detached or fell a bit within the Q.Cup itself. Not good for breeding ! Mash it.) The next generation of 'Queens' get made from 'Good, Dimpled, well Shaped' Queen Cells. Hopefully in a good location.👍 (Away from a back to back one, a doubled one (impossible to cut apart, without damaging one.) Or in a place on a Frame that's hard to 'harvest' easily. Hope this helps. 😎 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 Happy Beekeeping 2024 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝

Why is it still moving?
@GabetheSlacker10 ай бұрын
When a honeybee stings you, its stinger gets stuck in the skin, because unlike the stinger of a bumblebee or a wasp, a honeybee's stinger is barbed, so as the bee struggles to pull the stinger out, it ends up tearing the abdomen, which leaves behind the venom sack, part of the digestive track, etc., and the bee dies, but the venom sack on the stinger continues to pump venom despite being dettached from the bee. That's why the stinger is still moving after it is separated from the bee.

How long does it keep pulsing like that?
@dannygaleotafiore1967 Жыл бұрын
I stepped on a bee yesterday. Had no idea what I stepped on. Thought it was a thorn. When I looked at my foot, I pulled out a stinger just like this. Hurt pretty bad. I think I may have squeezed the rest of the venom into the bottom of my foot while trying to remove the stinger.

This goes to show that a thousand of bees die upon human or animal contact upon protecting their hive which is sad😢

What I am not seeing in the crushing process is why nobody is using a potato masher to do the crushing. Is it just people want to play with the wax comb? It would much more effective

I accidentally stepped on a dying little bee once at the beach and it felt like I stepped on a lit cigarette! Wow. Tiny but pack a big punch! 😱
@lisasmith7066 Жыл бұрын
Great video! Just pulled one out of my doggie’s little leg! 😱 Looks just like that but not pulsating. Gently squeezed out with tweezers. Don’t squeeze too tight you will break the venom sack but pull hard enough to get stinger. Tiny thing - a dark fleck but magnified…omg! 😱 Redness and a tiny hole magnified at site. Was limping but much better now. Washed area with baby shampoo and added a paste of baking soda & water. Wet some paper towels, put on an ice pack and applied coolness off and on. He was all better by bedtime and woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed. If symptoms on your dog are worse (you can’t find stinger or dog can’t breathe) go to emergency vet immediately. You can use Baby Benedryl too carefully for average cases.

Absofcuknlutely HATE wasps of ANY sort, I'd rather save the life of a Huntsman ( as I always do when wife finds them inside Home lol ) but HAPPILY spray the watery fxxk out of a Wasp with Raid or anything else that kills those cants 😆 🤣

when you have made the full hive in plastic - why is the frames still made of wood, you change these frames also to plastic ,
A poison is only considered venom if it is injected intravenously. In this case, it is not yet venom.
@PanthersGamingSessionYT Жыл бұрын
@@Feathersongwolf that is not true because poison has to either be absorbed through the skin or ingested, as long as you don’t have a cut you can drink venom. Just because the venom hasn’t been injected doesn’t change the fundamental fact that it is venom
@PanthersGamingSessionYT Жыл бұрын
To put it simply venom and poison are both types of toxin however they behave differently from each other, saying that venom is poison until it gets injected is like saying a bullet isn’t a bullet until it is shot

i just got stung on my arm by a honey bee, and, to be honest, it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. i have been stung many times, 2 times, and then i just began avoiding them. but when i went to my friends house, i deliberatly stung my self with a small winged ant, and it wasn't that much painful, today i got stung again by my 2nd ever honey bee, and it was just a slight pain, but it was still nothing. i got over my fear of stings, and the good news, i do not have anaphylaxis.
